    All 3 star wars movies.
    Absolute garbage.
Talk about completely destroying a storyline...then naming the movie about a bloodline that is dead...

  2. #102
Easily Captain Marvel. But probably because I am not very invested in the SW movies, I hear they are a dumpsterfire like no other.

  3. #103
my personal vote goes to batman vs superman. i couldnt stand that movie.

They couldn't even say Aangs name correctly.

    It is Aang, not Uung.

Yeah, it's baffling. The only thing I can think of is that they were trying to make it sound more...I don't know...ethnic.

I've thought about that, if I simply don't this kind of movie, but what kind of movie is this? I have seen great movies in every genre, that felt good to watch. What is it with marvel movies that makes them lack any sort of inspirational content that moves you?
F.ex The Boys (tvshow) felt really dark, and I felt something watching it.
Surely there are worse marvel movies then Avengers, but this was suppose to be the epic movie of the decade.

Well, that's like your opinion, man. I found the movie completely boring and the whole STD ghost monster is ridiculous and falls on the horror trope of teenagers having sex means they have to die. The acting is terrible, the dialog is dumb, and there are full on scenes of just standing around because they had to fill the run time. The weird clam shell cellphones made it less "real world" and was just odd. The ending was dumb and predictable. The only part that caused any sort of jump scare was the mom/son part which isn't until near the end of the movie.

TIL: Jump scares are a good thing.

Actually having sex saves them, also since when are jump scares a measurement of good horror? Though I agree somewhat, the movie was rather "meh" imho.
You are welcome, Metzen. I hope you won't fuck up my underground expansion idea.

I keep forgetting that Green Lantern came out this decade. feels like so long ago that I saw it at the cinema, feels like 2006 or something... shocked that it was 2011

Ghostbusters (2016) followed by absolutely anything with Melissa McCarthy in it.

I’d rather imagine lesbian porn between Leslie Jones and Amy Schumer than have to watch anything she’s done. For shits and giggles, substitute either one with Kathy Griffin.

A scary movie should make you scared and jump more than once. That is the difference between "good" and "garbage" which It Follows is definitely in the latter.

It dooms them. It doesn't save them. They won't get targeted unless they have sex. They found a sort of loophole in the end, which again was pretty obvious.

I was saying that a single jump scare was stupid. Read my reply above.

Holy hell, some of you guys need to watch more movies. Even if you don’t like Star Wars, Captain Marvel, etc., none of them would even be close to being worst of the decade.

It was cause and solution. Pretty shitty way to preach celebacy morals if the only way to get rid of the ghost clap is by fucking more. You also wrote the only thing that caused jump scares was one part. Good? Jump scares are cheap horror, usually people don't care for alot of them in horror movies.

I didn't finish it, it was pretty bad, gave up on it early and feel good about that decision.

If you think jump scares are worthwhile in a movie, then I can see why you'd have this opinion of It Follows. You're wrong, obviously, since it's quite clearly not a garbage movie by any definition...but it's not like anything I could say would change your mind.

I don't like jump scares and I didn't like It Follows so its not mutually exclusive, but other people are allowed to like it, I'm glad they got more enjoyment out of the movie than I did.
