I think it's about two years now. I had to replace CPU because my previous one got fucked by OC.

I went all out, so I think this one will last me another good 3-5 years or so. I'll probably plop in 3k series Nvidia GPU down the road to make it last 5 years total.

Current specs are i7-9700k @5GHz, 1080Ti, 32GB RAM @3400Mhz and a bunch of PCIE ssds.

Challenge Mode : Play WoW like my disability has me play:
You will need two people, Brian MUST use the mouse for movement/looking and John MUST use the keyboard for casting, attacking, healing etc.
Briand and John share the same goal, same intentions - but they can't talk to each other, however they can react to each other's in game activities.
Now see how far Brian and John get in WoW.

Starting from 2010 and till late 2017 it was
    Pentium Dual-Core E6600 3.06ghz,
    2gb ddr3 1333mhz ram
    GTS250
    WD Green HDD.
You can imagine my load time in legion, and i literally got kicked from Gul'dan by my guild because i had 1 fps when Gul'dan cast his deadly beam at p1.

In the end of 2017, i've had another 4gb ddr3 plank, and now WOW, i had 6gb!
Then my GPU cooler broken down, and i've bought a brand new (but actually used) 750 ti in february 2018!
And none of it had helped, really.

SO in may i've upgraded to A320, R3 1200, 2x4gb DDR4 2666mhz, 120gb ssd with my 750 ti. And guys, it was so perfect for wow for its console price!

But August 2019, i've got mad,

and got used 1070 ti, R5 2600x, B450, 16gb ram, and x2 other 500gb SSD's (one is NVMe) in addition to new Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200rpm.
    and a 2k monitor.

WoW on Ultra sometimes drops down to 41 fps, but overall its silky smooth.

1 year. Got it last Christmas. Gonna make a habit out of upgrading every 5-or-so years.

Ehm, the case is 7.5 years old. Same with the C drive and 1 mechanical drive. Still going strong.

The core has been replaced 4 years ago though, and 2 years ago a new GPU.

Time would indicate an upgrade is due..
But to be honest, it runs anything you throw at it now just fine. I think I'll stick with it a little while longer.

At what point did you feel that its a new PC and no longer the one you initially bought?
Using a Phenom 2, did upgrade from a Radeon 4870HD to a GTX 570 3 years ago though lol. Cant really afford to upgrade/get a new computer while Ive got 3 kids to look after, and I really only play WoW casually now, maybe 1-2 hours a week.

Got it Jan 2018, so we're getting up there, but it handles WoW and Pornhub.

Built in 2014, but I've replaced some things since then.

6 or 7 years old I think , 3570k and a gtx 670. Still plays most games ok, had to replace the thermal paste on the gpu/cpu not that long ago though. Thinking about upgrading when the next generation of gpus come out.

    Built in 2011.

Some parts like gpu and cpu has been upgraded since. Next upgrade to come is motherboard with friends, and I dread that day.

    I replaced my Mobo/Ram/CPU/Cooler/SSD in 2016, went to i7 from 8350 AMD.
    2018 I replaced my GTX770 with a GTX1060.

I'm waiting for the next gen consoles, mainly the MS side because all their first party is on PC now. If those games struggle a bit on my box, I'll probably look at a whole refresh, if not than I'll keep on trucking until there are a lot of games I have issues playing. But as of right now I have no issues with any games (1080p, 60fps, more or less high/ultra settings)

Work computer - I work at home, but primarily for work.

As for gaming - don't need anything more as I only play WoW, also I bought the quietest card I could capable of running WoW.

I've slowly upgraded my computer. The only original parts from 11' when I built it is my Coolermaster 922 Haf and an antec 750 psu. Other than that I upgraded from my original 6970 to a 1060 back in 16' and early fall of last year I upgraded from my 2600k and got a 9900k

This, and the rest of your post is extremely close to my setup.

    I have a 3930k and a 680 Classified, and 12GB RAM.

I've really been thinking of upgrading lately as I'm approaching the decade mark, but for what I use the rig for (mostly old games like WoW and internet shenanigans) it's hard to justify.

It's done me extremely well over the years.

Bit weird to go with Intel then. What work do you do? Ryzen 3000 would've probably been better.
