PvP Season 3 Disruption Update

As we previously noted, a bug on December 31 caused Season 3 to unexpectedly end for Arenas and Rated Battlegrounds. We were able to fix the issue early on January 3, and the fix retained rating changes and tier updates that were obtained by players during the unexpected off-season.

During the time between the bug and the fix, a small number of players advanced to a rating that provides a meaningful reward, and then have not seen that reflected in-game in the resumed Season. To address this, we’re deploying a hotfix:

• Players who earned the appropriate PvP rating for a BFA Season 3 title while the season was inactive, but then dropped below the required rating before the season could be reactivated, should earn that title when first logging in after the weekly reset.

In this region, the weekly reset occurs tomorrow morning (Tuesday, January 7).

Furthermore, there is one more full week to go until Season 3 ends. Good luck out there as you push for the finish!

Patch 8.3 PTR - Updated Male Worgen Eyes
Male Worgen eyes have received some shine compared to their live versions on the 8.3 PTR! The shimmer is more noticeable on the eyes that don't glow.

Patch 8.3 PTR - Heart of Azeroth Updates and New Essences
Patch 8.3 will once again let you collect Azerite Power to level your Heart of Azeroth past neck level 70.

• The new soft cap is 80, however, you may keep leveling it past 80 to increase the item level and power of your Azerite Traits.
• You will unlock additional Perseverance traits at neck level 71 and 80.
• A new minor Azerite Essence slot is unlocked at neck level 75.

In addition, several new essences are coming with Visions of N'Zoth.

The problem in the past with Legion, is that it sort of felt mandatory to max out as much as possible the artifact weapon.. This looks more like a case of you can if you want to keep going.. Really all depends I suppose on how much it does affect the azerite traits..

You get it as a stat stick and Ilvl bloater, basically, they removed the part where you have extra corruption resistance in visions and baked it into the cloak
