Oh my would you look at that . It appears that the GAO has deemed that the Trump admin broke the law after all.

It's funny since the comments on FOX news articles which are normally just 24/7 worshiping the ground Trump walks on have increasingly been taken over by people calling them out on stuff. Predictably the Trump admin has started trying to tarnish the GAO's reputation as partisan even though they are well known to be a neutral entity.

Also reread my sig again lol.

Now is a great time to remind everyone......

    - Trump became president because stupid people got upset that about Hillary's emails.
    - Hillary's e-mails were only a thing because of the ineffectiveness of all 4,396 Benghazi investigations.
    - There were Benghazi investigations because Hillary said for two days (until better intelligence came out), that American embassy members were killed by terrorists who hate us and were inflamed by an anti-Muslim movie, instead of just American embassy members were killed by terrorists who hate us.

Now they will hand wave Trump lying about that American service members were killed because of retaliation to a poorly conceived attack by Trump.

    I hate this timeline.

Nobody was killed (casualty means injured or killed). They're having concussion symptoms mostly.

Don't forget, that besides the stimulus, you also have the farmers being subsidized by socialism to keep them from all going out of business. Yeah, if the economy is doing so good, why are the farm bankruptcies up like 20-30%?

I guess if they do manage to completely ruin the economy, then it will become an impossibility to make any welfare/socialist programs because of sheer bankruptcy; so it is a self serving prophecy in some weird way.

I frankly wouldn't put it past a few conservatives to actually think like that, been in this game for far too long to underestimate some of my colleagues insanity

Paul Ryan said that was his policy, it wasn't a secret. He wanted to starve the government so they would be forced to cut social programs.

The Trump administration threatened 25% tariffs on European cars if Britain, Germany, and France didn't play ball on Iran

Specifically, for violating the Iran Nuclear Deal. Which Trump already violated.

One European official told the Post it was a move equivalent to "extortion" from the Trump administration, underscoring the turmoil in decade-long relationships between the United States and its European allies.

British, German, and French officials, though, told the Post they had already planned on accusing Iran of violating the agreement which restrains its nuclear program. But they feared being perceived as puppets of the American government if the threat ever became public.
    So just to re-iterate:
    1) This extends the list of countries Trump wanted to extort from "Ukraine" past "Ukraine and also Iraq" to "Ukraine, Iraq, and three of our closest allies"
    2) Trump never applied any tariffs. So now, the threat is public, which makes extortion much harder.

I already pay a 25% tax on my BMW 550i xdrive. It's the BMW Tax. It's because BMW engineers the fucking things for performance and not reliability, so I buy 25% of a new car over the next 3 years whenever I take it to the service center.

    German engineering my ass....

It's like a skipping record sometimes.

The Trump administration on Wednesday imposed severe restrictions on billions of dollars in emergency relief to Puerto Rico, including blocking spending on the island’s electrical grid and suspending its $15-an-hour minimum wage for federally funded relief work.

The nearly $16 billion in funding, released while Puerto Ricans still sleep on the streets for fear of aftershocks from last week’s earthquake, is part of $20 billion that Congress allocated for disaster recovery and preparation more than a year ago, in response to the territory being hit by back-to-back hurricanes in 2017.

The Department of Housing and Urban Development had released only $1.5 billion of the congressional relief, citing concerns of political corruption. Of that, only $5 million has been allocated.

“In a great win for Puerto Ricans and U.S. taxpayers, the Administration has outlined reforms for the grant agreement to Puerto Rico in order to protect resources,” said Chase Jennings, a spokesman for the Office of Management and Budget at the White House.

Rep. Nydia M. Velázquez, D-N.Y., the first Puerto Rican woman elected to the House, called the move disdainful and contemptuous.

“Why is Puerto Rico always subjected to different standards when it comes to this administration?” she demanded.
It appears I must add Corruption Lol to the list of reasons Trump uses to do whatever he wants. Yep, that's Trump extorting yet another country, only this one is filled with American citizens. Just a reminder, that money was allocated (as cited) in 2017. If Trump was legitimately concerned about corruption, shouldn't there have been investigations in 2018 and 2019? If so, please link them. If not, then he's using yet another excuse to intentionally hurt brown people.

The Ukraine gov is cooperating with the FBI on this. Funny the corruption ridden country does that, but the leader of the "Law and Order" country didnt.

One, China says it does not address "core concerns". No surprise here, Phase One barely did anything.

Two, the agricultural imports are not, in fact, $50 billion over two years. It's $32 billion, over two years, or $16 billion per year (average). As easily found by dot-gov addresses like this one and this one, in 2017, the US exported $20 to $21 billion. Trump has successfully negotiated for less money, aka "pulling a George Castanza".

Three, Trump has already said he could easily just not sign anything else until after 2020, aka "taking hostages".
To which China will reply "Do you have better hostages?"

    It took him 48 hours...

Morale at Foggy Bottom must be fucking tectonic right now.

Wasn't he just hanging out with some tech bros in California recently? Couldn't break away to fire off a DM to his deputy that they should probably start drafting up a response?

Jesus fucking christ, the incompetence of this administration never ceases to amaze.

THERE ARE CREDIBLE REPORTS THAT A US CANDIDATE FOR CONGRESS WAS SPYING ON A US AMBASSADOR TO A FOREIGN COUNTRY, AND INNUENDO THAT THERE WAS THE POTENTIAL FOR SOME KID OF ACTION TO BE TAKEN AGAINST HER USING AN "INSIDE MAN". HOW THE FUCK DO YOU NOT HAVE A STRONG, CLEAR, IMMEDIATE RESPONSE FOR THAT DECRYING THE ALLEGATIONS AND PROMISING A FULL AND COMPLETE INVESTIGATION IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE FBI AND UKRAINIAN AUTHORITIES?

The son of the Patron Saint of the Republican Party Ronald Reagan, Ron Reagan, has some thoughts about Trump.

I'm taking bets on how long it is before he starts being called a RINO and we see insinuations that he's dishonoring his fathers legacy.
