Patch 8.3 adds N'Zoth assaults to Uldum and the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. These new assaults work a little differently than what you would expect and are a very important part of keeping up with patch content. Click the banner below for an in depth guide.

Today in Uldum
There are several activities taking place in Uldum.

Assault: Aqir (NA)

• The Aqir Assault has started in Uldum. This minor assault resets on Tuesday at 7 AM PT in NA.
• Completing this assault rewards you with 500 Uldum Accord reputation, 750 Artifact Power, and a Cache of the Aqir Swarm.
• Cache of the Aqir Swarm contains 5500 Coalescing Visions, Corrupted Mementos, 2000 gold and a chance for a corrupted item.

Daily Quests (NA)

• Put Your Foot Down - Squish 12 Aqir Larvae in Uldum.
• Getting Ahead - Collect 1 Goliath Trophy from Aqir Goliaths in Uldum.
• Wounded Wastewanderers - Heal 6 Wastewander Laborers.

Bonus Events (NA)

• Completing bonus events rewards you with Uldum Accord reputation and Coalescing Visions.

Assault: Amathet (EU)

• The Amathet Assault continues in Uldum. This minor assault resets on Saturday at 8 PM CET in EU.
• Completing this assault rewards you with 500 Uldum Accord reputation, 750 Artifact Power, and a Cache of the Amathet.
• Cache of the Amathet contains 5500 Coalescing Visions, Corrupted Mementos, 2000 gold and a chance for a corrupted item.

Daily Quests (EU)

• Champions of the Amathet - Kill 6 elite Amathet enemies in Uldum.
• Unearthed Artifacts - Collect 6 Titan Artifacts in Uldum.
• Writs of the Sun King - Collect 6 Writs of the Sun King from Suntouched Amathet in Uldum.

Bonus Events (EU)

• Completing bonus events rewards you with Uldum Accord reputation and Coalescing Visions.

Pet Battle World Quest

• Retinus the Seeker - Defeat Retinus the Seeker in a pet battle.
• Strategy: Unborn Val'kyr [2 2 1] and Ikky [1 1 1]
  
  • Turn 1: Shadow Shock
  • Turn 2: Curse of Doom
  • Turn 3: Haunt
  • Bring in Ikky
  • Turn 4: Black Claw
  • Turn 5-7: Flock
  • Turn 8: Finish the fight with your third pet

Other Daily Activities

• Reins of the Springfur Alpaca - Obtained by feeding Gersahl Greens to the Friendly Alpaca for seven days.
  
  • You can find Gersahl Greens along the Vir'naal River. Most of them spawn around the Lost City of Tol'vir.
  • The Friendly Alpaca is a rare spawn in Uldum. If you can't find it, look in Premade Groups for "Friendly Alpaca".
• Shadowbarb Drone - Obtained by completing Ready to Fly, the final quest in a chain available after completing daily quests for 30 days.
  
  • To start the questline pick up the Voidtouched Egg at coordinates 20.8 61.9 in Uldum and then bring it to H'partho Ardoros.
  • To grow your companion you will have to complete daily quests offered by H'partho Ardoros in Ramkahen.
  • Completing this questline also rewards you with a toy Aqir Egg Cluster and a pet Shadowbarb Hatchling.

Today in Vale of Eternal Blossoms
There are several events taking place in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms.

Assault: The Black Empire

• The Black Empire Assault continues in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. This major assault resets on Tuesday at 7 AM PT in NA (Wednesday at 8 AM CET in EU).
• Completing this assault rewards you with 1500 Rajani reputation, 750 Artifact Power, and a Cache of the Black Empire.
• Cache of the Black Empire contains Vessel of Horrific Visions, Corrupted Mementos, 2000 gold and a chance for a corrupted item.

Vision of N'Zoth Daily Quest (Vision of Darkness)

• A Hand in the Dark - Rescue 8 souls from the vision.

Daily Quests

• A Growing Darkness - Destroy 6 Corrupted Incubators in the Big Blossom Mine in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms.
• The Strongest Among Them - Defeat 4 rare minions of N'Zoth in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms.
• Pillars of Oblivion - Destroy 6 Black Empire Obelisks in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms.

Bonus Events

• Completing bonus events rewards you with Rajani reputation and Coalescing Visions.

  • Turn 1: Shadow Shock
  • Turn 2: Curse of Doom
  • Turn 3: Haunt
  • Bring in Zandalari Anklerender
  • Turn 4: Black Claw
  • Turn 5-6: Hunting Party
  • Turn 7: Finish the fight with your third pet
  • Note: This fight has a lot of RNG, restart and try again if Zandalari Anklerender dies early.

It's funny how times change. The rare occasion I would ever unsubscribe I'd see a new content patch and come back. Now I just laugh and pity the people that support WoW. I remember the traffic on these posts even the FB page for mmo-c. I hope they heavily restructure in the coming years.

I want the alpaca and bug mount, so I'll do those dailies for them and then i'm out too probably.

All of these mounts locked behind playing a certain amount of time in a row tells me all I need to know about Blizzard's desperation. Forget it. Those daily quests are AWFUL. Single-tap quest objectives, long spawn times, 200 people all doing the same thing in the same area thanks to CRZ--which we've wanted removed for a decade now. Enough already. This is the direct opposite direction of what needed to be done, 8.2's Mechagon is how you do it right--this is not.

People always complained on these forums, go and play your Final Fantasy 625.

Patch is ok, for a person like me with job/kid/family that play 1h a day and sometimes more on weekends there is more than enough content to keep me busy till Shadowlands.
If you are spending your whole day playing WoW, there wont ever be enough for you.

Alts, transmogs, pet battles, pvp, mount runs, filling up collection tab, glory runs, gearing my main, etc.

WoW has plenty things to do, if you are bored just quit, maybe you’ve grown up. :P

Anyone know where to get the "Wounded Wastewanderers" quest? Not seeing it in the camp.

Just did it with @icedwarrior and I got gear (a 3rd pair of bracers on same toon) and he got nothing. So might be a bug.

I'm already over this patch. This constant grinding for legendary cloak upgrades, with daily homework. No.

I will unlock the allied races and then once all wings are available in LFR, do the raid 1 time. Other than that, I'm sticking with Classic.

Out of the Cache of the Aqir Swarm I received 200 war resources, 5500 Coalescing Visions and 58 corrupted mementos. No Gold, No gear. 2nd day in a row that I didn't get gold from one of the chests, though I think I got an ilvl 415 item yesterday (which was below what I was already wearing).

The vale info doesnt seem to be correct for eu? Wrong pet battle and wrong events. Edit: Uldum seems also wrong for eu, pet battle is different.. Seems to be the stuff from yesterday before the reset, not much point to it now.

Out of the Cache of the Aqir Swarm I received 200 war resources, 5500 Coalescing Visions and 58 corrupted mementos. No Gold, No gear. 2nd day in a row that I didn't get gold from one of the chests, though I think I got an ilvl 415 item yesterday (which was below what I was already wearing).

Same but no gear. These fucking assaults are too much a pain in the ass to do and not get gear . Blizzard has shit the bed on this patch

I did not get a piece of gear from the Cache of the Aqir Swarm. This post is wrong. I should be able to report the post, as I can report to comments, because it's just flat wrong.
