For starters, none of it is actually ever free. Of course taxes pay for it. Taxes that ramp up from low income to high income.
Public schooling is free. But it's paid for by taxes. At the same time, your tax money alone probably isn't enough to pay for one child's education. You're not single handedly covering the costs of a building, a teacher, and clasd materials. But between you and the people who make more money than you, and the people who aren't using the system at all but still paying in, it all works out. This is the same for roads; your piddly taxation isn't single-handedly paving every street you drive on. The military that protects you isn't fully loaded by your tax dollars.
And I'm sure you don't want America to be a third world shithole country like those ones Trump talks about, so I'm sure you probably support all of that taxation and all of those programs.
Things like healtgcare healthcare and college educations are exactly the same thing. Even more so, because they're directly influencing economic resources. You can't have skilled workers without a skill, and you can't have workers if they're dead.
