This topic, again...?
I play both. It's simple enough, you pick whatever looks better for each race.
I'm male and play male characters
I'm male and play female characters
I'm male and play both
I'm female and play male characters
I'm female and play female characters
I'm female and play both
I usually only play male characters because it's harder to immerse myself in an RPG when I play the opposite sex.
I generally play male characters, but Nightborne and Dranaei I made them female because the males didn't look right.
Male. WoW is the only MMO game that do male character justice, so i play both male and female characters.
I only play male characters, I'm male. I tried to play a female once but it felt awkward. I want the character to feel like me - especially since I've been playing MMOs since EQ and they're not just a game world avatar, but also (to me) represent some degree of personal expression in a social environment.
I have no problems playing single player games where there's no option, ie Parasite Eve. But given the choice I'll pick male.

Male, most of my characters are male too. But I got some female characters, a few Void Elves and Dwarves for example.
I'm male and most of my chars are male too except one orcess shaman because orcesses are rare
My priest alt is blood elf female ever since WotLK, cause animations are better and... let's be real, belf male is a joke in cloth armor.

I was going to say that I play mostly female charatcers. But I do also play as a human, night elf, nightborne, forsaken and blood elf male. However I usually create/pick a female character in games if theres such option.
he/him/his • please go check out Nazdorei (Playable Naga Concept) and Kul Tiran Female Edit.
Been maining the same tauren warrior male all these years. I have a few female chars tho. DH, Rog, Mage and Warlock.
DK is an undead male and Paladin is A tauren male. Shaman also. same.
I tend to play females because they’re smaller. Plus I’m a guy why would I want to stare at man ass?
Male. I play both. My character isn't supposed to be a representation of me. I just try to make cool/good-looking characters. I have 6 120s and they are:
1. Male Dwarf Shaman (Main)
2. Female Blood Elf Hunter (Horde Main)
3. Female Night Elf Demon Hunter
4. Male Human Warlock
5. Male Human Death Knight
6. Female Blood Elf Mage
I choose all "pretty" races (with the possible exception of my dwarf shaman, though I don't personally find male dwarves ugly) because I like my characters to look good.
