It would be weird for N'zoth to be at nazjatar(Near the maelstrom). Not to mention the scale of N'zoth might be a bit rough on the more potato machines. Sure it would be a pretty cool thing to look at but........... yeah I'm not too upset it was canceled. I just think N'zoth being relevant was just in the wrong expansion(As in one that has many concerns and such like classes and Warfronts).

This is WoD all over again.
Remember the cut content in WoD, the shattrah zone/raid cutted out, the Y'rel story thrown to the trash, the Epic cities replaced by Ashran, and the facepalming finale ?
This is the same shit all over again. Last Time they had to pull all of the fan service and their A+ game to stop the bleeding, but Shadowlands looks nothing like Legion.
RIP WoW, this Time for good...
I did read it, and I still stand by what I said, it would be weird for N'zoth to be by Nazjatar instead of...well where he's supposed to be. Nothing really changes that. Even if you imply that he moved, how the fuck can you even do that as something as big as a fleshy mountain.

BFA still has more stuff in it then WoD and Blizzard cut WoD short by the time of Hellfire citadel was being made as a raid. BFA was given much more time. But yes rah rah doom and gloom >_>Remember the cut content in WoD, the shattrah zone/raid cutted out, the Y'rel story thrown to the trash, the Epic cities replaced by Ashran, and the facepalming finale ?

You know a community is bad when moderators lock a thread because "...this isnt the place to talk about it either seeing as it will get trolled..."
The Black Empire, N'zoth and the naga arc should've been one entire expansion for themselves, with BfA offering somewhat of a prelude. A lot of wasted potential in my opinion.

Fuck imagine literally questing on Nzoth's body
What you quoted is true. Just because you don't understand a concept doesn't mean that it is wrong. For a source to be credible it has to be proven credible. The easiest way to do that is to provide your name and title. This can then be verified. No one is forcing anyone to provide these details. If you want to be referred to as more than a rumour then you have to provide verification.
Thread title: "Let's not forget that Nzoth was originally planned to be a zone as big as Nazjatar"
Read it again. Carefully.
Nothing in that sentence suggests any of the semantic meaning that you have taken from it. All you saw were "Nazjatar" and "N'zoth" and then you came in here raging.
Cheerful lack of self-preservation
I'm fine with it, old god shit is so ugly and uninteresting.
Just wish they'd rush out Shadowlands instead.
How many reeee's will this get......
Indeed. Legion, arguably the most content-rich expansion tied with Pandaria, had an entire island cut in favor of Argus. Wrath had Azjol-Nerub, initially a sprawling underground zone, cut down to two dungeons. So on and so forth.
I do think that 8.3 having a zone was the initial plan alongside the Old World assaults, and that zone ended up being cut in the effort to refocus development on Shadowlands. As we see in N'yalotha, N'zoth is plenty massive enough to make a zone out of his body.
So what? N'Zoth was supposed to be 4 expansions ago too.
