Minutes after Kobe’s death, CNN immediately brings up his sexual assault allegations and MSNBC accidently lets the n word slip... You know that MSM is incompetent when they make Fox News look like the least racist news channel

Heard the audio clip at 0.5x speed. There was definitely a g in there instead of a k

i was willing to believe she got tripped up and mixed knicks and lakers to knickers, but listening to that again there's no ick, ache, or anything else to it. that's a rock hard double G.

but yeah, it's pretty strange he died. i remember how big he was for a long time. never even been a basketball fan, but he was into some other shit too. didn't he get involved in one of those kids shows on cartoon network?

I've always cheered against the Lakers and particularly cheered against Kobe and I'm so sad to lose him and feel so bad for his family. Absolutely surreal, this should not have been his time.

Sounds like nakers I heard the clip also. The thing is also G and K are in similar spots in the throat just saying "Nake" and "Nig" sounds extremely close, then the rest is you just making up the rest of what you'd want to hear.

Nākers, with a long a, sounds very close frankly in passing you'd not be able to tell the difference most likely. Think "Neighkers"

Regardless, there’s no excuses for the other news outlets’ coverage.

And now the Washington Post just posted a video accusing Kobe of being a rapist.

The like to dislike ratio on this is truly astounding

Well, he is an accused rapist.

    I heard Las Angeles Knickers.

I wasn't a fan of Kobe's or basketball in general, but this kind of news really sucks for anyone involved.

Yeah accusing a beloved celebrity of being a rapist right after he and his daughter just died totally isn’t disrespectful and tasteless

Terrible and tragic. My thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by this.

Umm, he is an accused rapist.

Would you have been outraged if Nixon died, and they reported of his controversies? The facts don't really care about your feelings, and the fact was, that he was an accused rapist.

You don’t get it. This is very bad optics and just feeds into the right wing narrative that Democrats are just crazy SJWs. Look at the like to dislike ratio on that video

No, this is the narrative that you want to sell.

I don't really care about the likes to dislikes, considering the amount of brigading we've seen... from people like you.

For heavens sake the man hasn't been dead for a day. He was acquitted of the charges and openly remorseful remorseful about the situation ever sense. Imagine people waiting to drag your name for every little thing you've done in your life the moment you die. I don't understand what people get from being so nasty.

You’re basically saying that we should treat him like he’s guilty until proven innocent.

No, I'm not basically saying that, and neither is the reporter in the video. You. Are. Lying.

He's saying it's part of his image and legacy... and it is. It actually happened, and pretending it didn't is an exercise in willful ignorance.

He was not actually acquitted, the case was dropped, and went to an out-of-court civil settlement.

To quote futurama “this is such a difficult time for people who confuse tv people for actual friends”

I felt bad for his family for about a min but the truth is this wouldn’t have been given even an hour air time if he wasn’t some rich guy who knew how to put a ball in a net.
And those interviews.. god I hate celebrity deaths
That one guy who said he always considered Kobe his family even thou he never met him.
People saying how their lives have changed forever even thou they never met.
When the truth is he wouldn’t have bat his eyes if he heard these people died.

My bet is on a combination of helicopter malfunction and bad pilot reaction.

I'll bet you're great at parties.
Populists (and "national socialists") look at the supposedly secret deals that run the world "behind the scenes". Child's play. Except that childishness is sinister in adults.
