Paragon has a total of 7 world firsts titles. While Method has 11. Pretty obvious which one is greater than the other...

While you're doing your research you should look at guilds too, Paragon was up against a behemoth of guilds all pushing world firsts, when Paragon was doing the race there was literally 10 guilds who could all take the spot. All of WoD/Legion/Bfa there was 2. It's not hard to get world first when every other good guild has died out and you're all that's left.
Method didn't start getting world firsts until all the top guilds died lol. So calm down, it's not hard to rack up that kill count when all the competition is gone.

So I guess the normal N'zoth phase doesn't actually matter and you just have to survive in as decent a state as you can to reach the secret phase (which likely has its own phases when Magni and Mother go berserk)

If I was to guess I would bet beating the add weakens him so that increased damage happens and it's probably still a super tight check so it matters but it isn't paramount to the point of survival but we don't know if they killed the add off stream or if they don't know what happens next.
