The acquital of this criminal in chief makes that abundently clear.

Over the last decade given what we've seen happen the world over, I've often wondered how democratic nation states end up under the control of tyrants and what it is that leads to the death of their democracies. Now I know. I've had a front row seat to that happening to one of the two governing parties of the united states. If it wasn't for the democrats and the system of checks and balances people like you would be clapping and cheering on the worlds newest tyrant in charge of the worlds only superpower.

Everyone knew the outcome, from the House to the Senate, to the guy who keeps bushes trimmed outside.

The point was to get everything into public records and to assert the power of the legislative branch. There's more than one election coming up and every yes and no vote will be judged voters.

The point of it is to demonstrate how corrupt the republicans are. Nancy knew there wasn't a chance Moscow would allow an actual trial to take place...so she demonstrated that, and will be able to use it in ads. In November one of two things will happen. 1) The US will begin a transition from hybrid regime back toward democracy. 2) Dictatorship, in which case there will either be a civil war, or the country will just collapse and democratic countries like Canada and the EU will start taking refugees.
