i installed the newest drivers and my control panel is suddenly gone. what the hell???
also my gtx 1070 gsync or fastsync, whatever it was called, doesnt seem to work. i turned off vsync in no mans sky and now my screen is tearing
wha the fuck nvidia??

I just did a fresh install and instead of though the driver it looks like the actual nvidia control panel is being pushed through the ms app store front. I have gforce experience loaded so if I need to make changes I use that.

the Control Panel is now available ONLY from the Windows Store.
been that way for a while now.
Something to do with how MS wants devs to do things

I have the latest drivers installed and have access to the control panel, just right click on the desktop it should be there.

If you have nvidia geforce experience then the control panel is built in with the application.
You need to right click nvidia icon and choose which you wish to go into or double click icon (for me brings me into control panel)

I had this bug recently where after i uninstall, windows update was installing geforce drivers as soon as i started the geforce driver installer. It finished but got a broken installation where the control panel wont run, it even has a blank icon on control panel, and when i checked what version my driver was, it was older one that windows was installing. Fixed it using DDU, theres also an option there to prevent windows from auto installing drivers.
