Reminder: Republicans don't care about you if you're LGBTQ+, once again they marginalize and sideline issues raised by Log Cabin Republicans.

This isn't to bring up LGBTQ+ discussion, but more to remind people that Trumps push to get support from that community is bullshit as hell.

That anyone who is gay would stand with the GOP is beyond baffling to me. As Skroe has pointed out, this isn't caving; neither party has historically evinced much of an interest in dramatically lowering the military budget, and if they did it's much better to limit the scope and adjust the budget accordingly than to limit the budget and make them do more with less.

That said, on issues that are actually important, they've given very little ground. Remember the shutdown over their refusal to put any funds whatsoever for the Wall in the budget?

I work for the Department of Energy's (DOE's) Office of Science at a National Laboratory, and while Congress, both the current Democrat controlled and the previous Republican controlled have told Trump to go pound sand in regards to his austerity budgets, I'd like a person in the WH who actually wants to push Science and Technology forward and not slash it back every year.

One thing I have started to think about and I wonder if it might be true.

We know that Trump is half blind, he refuses to use twitter in public and his scripts are written in over-sized sharpie as well. But what are the odds he is color blind as well?

I mean seriously, how else can he honestly think coming out looking (Like another said) an Oompa Loompa version of blackface would fool anyone. What are the odds he is color blind and, to him, that looks like a natural bronze complexion to him?

We already know he thinks he knows more than anyone else so no one can tell him otherwise and he won't dare admit he has a problem. We have his vision, his weight, his health, his popular vote, his poll numbers, his inauguration crowd, his net worth, and virtually every part of his life is a lie to make himself look better than he is.

Work for the President, despite having no political background, leave said job with President to go work for Fox. Later leave Fox to become an advisor for the President's son-in-law, still somehow have the title of "counselor to the president."

Its like she's go one position from Trump, swapped to Fox to compare notes and organise the arguments to defend and get on the same page, then swap back to Trump to make sure they co-ordinate with these same arguments later on.

More than strange, I find it downright upsetting that there are so many unqualified individuals working in the White House and are able to gain experience like her. What exactly is she even advising anyway?

John McEntee, President Donald Trump's former body man who was fired in 2018 amid an investigation into his alleged financial crimes, will lead the Presidential Personnel Office, multiple news outlets reported Thursday.

Former White House chief of staff John Kelly forced McEntee out over issues with the young aide's security clearance. The issues were related to online gambling problems and mishandling of his taxes, the Wall Street Journal reported.

McEntee was also the subject of a financial-crimes investigation by the Department of Homeland Security.

McEntee was reportedly escorted out of the White House in March 2018 without being allowed to collect his belongings, including his jacket.

McEntee joined the president's small team during the earliest days of his presidential campaign.
