We all know that it was Xavius... doesn't change a thing on how ridiculous that was. The roasting inside the dungeon was also pure cringe, "so say the shadow of xavius" ugh my god...

I forget how awful that name really was. Amazing Chris Metzen managed to come up with a name even worse than "Thrall." Naming Orcs is so easy, just do a variation of Durotan or something, but had to go the Superman rip off route.

Like even with the "Ooooo it was Xavius pulling the strings, mimicking Malfurion all alooooong" argument I'm shocked the devs/writers looked at that and thought "Yeah this definitely isn't utterly ridiculous, will be memed, and cause players to never be able to take these characters seriously ever again"

It's Tyrande, who cares? Certainly not Blizzard.

Maybe Blizzard's first pitch in that scenario was to have Varian teach Tyrande what real love is, but then they decided to kill Varian off at the Broken Shore, so they had to embarrass her and the night elves in some other way.

Malfurion and Tyrande during the val'sharah quest where Malfurion is taken. Probably the most cringe thing ever placed in this game.

100%, when Malfurion is crying out, that was such a terrible voice over. I was like...what the fuck is going on. I was so happy they added the assualts so I didn't have to do the stupid as quests to level alts.
