But I'm talking about Bernie and his camp. If he's so out of touch that he thinks Tulsi is a viable (much less a good) choice for VP then that raises enormous alarm bells.

Isn't Bernie the independent candidate? Shouldn't he pick someone to appease the Democratic base given that?

Anti-war stance is fairly popular, and politicians who pursue it are quite rare in US.
    Well that's flat out untrue.

Of course the Russian posting positively about Tulsi as a VP pick just proves she's the wrong choice.

He'll never pick Tulsi. It gets him nothing.

Stacy Abrams for - any - candidate is still far and away the most logical and smart choice. A candidate who gets Abrams gets a lot.

I've seen this mentioned in a few other places. Nothing official or linked to anything reputable. Hence my asking as this is not the only place I've seen it mentioned.

The points you raised ignore the glaring and deep flaws she has. You can get a lot of your positives without all the baggage with other potential picks.

I'm not sure picking anti-democratic party candidates as part of his bid to be the next democratic president is a good strategy.

its not "everyone else's fault" if there's not a candidate that fits exactly to your taste.

I'm not arguing the merits or lack thereof of Bloomberg or any candidate really except to say that you yourself acknowledge that Bloomberg is better than Trump and yet you wouldn't vote for him. You don't then get to dodge responsibility for your choice by invoking your purity test. You are choosing to opt out and let the worst option prevail. That's on you.

Like saying that "if you're a progressive you should be voting for Bernie" and then claiming they're a closet centrist or republican, perchance?

No one is owed a vote, except Bernie Sanders.

People are catching on, but more work still needs to be done. Whenever you see someone or a supposed group on the internet pushing something, you must be skeptical. This especially goes for the big platforms like facebook and twitter, but it also applies to forums like this one. You really do not know who is doing what. Just because some asshole attacks another person on twitter does not mean they are a "bernie bro". It doesn't even mean they are american. It doesn't even mean they are human.

The most disappointing aspect of this is media outlets. The trend of pretending something big happened (twitter claps cap, the internet reacts, etc...) when in fact it was just a handful of people needs to die.

Which other VP from current selection do you think would work better with that demographic?

    Yang maybe?

I don't think there is any VP candidate that would swing a Trump or potential Trump voter to vote for Bernie.

Thus any calculation that takes away from any other voter block to chase these people is a losing strategy.

Dems need to stop looking for ways to win over Trump voters. It isn't going to happen.

When most of them are like you and not smart enough to even identify what communism is it would be weird. But then again people who were pro Obama were dumb enough to swap to Trump so there's no limit it would seem.

Oh yeah good point above. The hard working class middle Americas voted in the exact new york, born with a silver spoon in his mouth, billionaire, coastal elite as their guy. Come to think of it Trump makes less sense than Sanders to jump to.

They aren't even smart enough to click the link and skim the article to realize it's about Tulsi, not Bernie.

I wonder if Bernie will get called out on it during the debate?

Here's Bloomberg, calling out some of Bernie's senior staff. I think this is an important step. It demonstrates that its not just some randoms on 4chan. This bad behavior is being led from up on high.

    Also Joe Biden this week.

Biden calls on Sanders to take accountability for supporters' threats.
Calling attacks “vicious, malicious, misogynistic,” Biden said it wasn’t enough for Sanders to simply disassociate himself from those making them. He needs to “find out who the hell they are, if any of them work for [him]. Fire them.”

Biden says he'd 'disown' anyone who made online attacks like Bernie Sanders' supporters.
"If any of my supporters did that, I'd disown them. Flat disown them," Biden said. "The stuff that was said online. The way they threatened these two women who are leaders in that Culinary union. It is outrageous."

I find it funny how calling out Bloomberg for all the scummy shit he has done is now harassment, never change.

Biden's comments come in the wake of a controversy over the Culinary Workers Union, which recently criticized Sanders' "Medicare for All" proposal. The union represents some 60,000 members of the hospitality industry in Nevada.
They don't represent the political views those members hold.
