So the next relevant date aside from St. Patrick's (I don't drink and I'm not Irish so I don't celebrate it) is Easter, so do you have a favorite Easter pastime or tradition?
I still celebrate it even though I'm not a Catholic practitioner (raised by a big Catholic family though) and I love all the Christian/Catholic holidays and their traditions, which I still practice. My favorite's watching Mel Gibson's The Passion (IMO the definitive movie about Jesus), accompanied by a nice lunch with the family, usually a good rare roast beef with codfish cakes on the side, then lots of Easter chocolates for desert, and we usually take my niece on Easter egg hunts too in the morning where there's something scheduled by the church or the community.
Do you have any favorites to share? I made a poll for some fun listing some common, and maybe to other, more outlandish traditions that come to mind when I think of Easter.
