Wait... Overwatch had a story!?!? I thought it was just a bunch of random facts about some of the heroes.
Is this the phone guy?
Anyway, I see that Blizzard is hiring only the best. Tee hee.
What kind of a company goon is that Alegre-idiot?
Yes. EXCITING. Bending over for China, getting butt-fucked for the rest of its existence and splattering their foul cum all over the customer base is certainly EXCITING when you are one of the disgusting piece of human trash that are stockholders i guess.“Activision Blizzard is at an exciting point in its history,” said Alegre.
In addition to a deep library of by now entirely ruined franchises that have been burned to the ground by greedy scumbags like Alegre, the company has tremendous talent that is just robust enough to still bleed out mediocre titles despite being stifled and strangled by previously mentioned greed, that left employees with barely enough time to get 6 hours sleep 3 days a week. More impotently, through thoughtful and creative games of the past, it manages to trick and cheat over 400 million people around the world through revolting marketing ploys and abuse of nostalgia. Im sure he looks forward to swindle players around the world out of their money with disgusting, complex and psychologically manipulative tricks George Orwell could not have come up with in his darkest nightmares.“In addition to a deep library of owned and internationally beloved franchises, the company has tremendous talent that has built a culture committed to inspiration and creativity. More importantly, through thoughtful and creative games, it connects and engages over 400 million people around the world through epic entertainment. I look forward to helping players around the world connect through quality and immersive games.”
Fuck off with your corporate-speak.

You know what the funniest part of your post is though? That you seem to think that Blizzard games are noteworthy in terms of greed or something, and they're not. They're some of the LEAST greedy. Not the least greedy mind you, but they're not bad. Activison itself is learning with its games as well. Over on the COD side of things the real money aspect of it has been toned way back compared to the last couple of years.
Now, if you want to see some real greed, like REAL greed, look at the industry darling that is Path of Exile. Yeah it's "free" to play, but a single weapon mog is like $25 and if you dual wield you need two of them. A set of cosmetic armor will set you back the cost of a full game and is limited to one character. I do have to wonder if the people who complain that Blizzard is greedy because there's a couple $25 mounts every now and then, or a remake is priced $10 higher than they'd like, or whatever have even played other games. There's a lot of sleazy shit out there in the gaming industry, so much so that it makes Blizzard look pure and virginal at times.

To anyone still thinking that there is a difference between Activision and Blizzard... there isn't.

you know stockholders are pretty fucking normal people right?
my friends dad is a stockholder in a few companies, spends his days working form his apartment keeping up with the market.
hell if you go and spend like 54.56$ USD right now you could go be a blizzard stock holder.
cause idk if you know mate, but stock holders are not million and billionairs, some are, but not all.
you need to grow up if you really think people who do buisness, even those who only have a few thousand bucks on hand are "Human trash"
I know bernie sanders is about the 1% of the 1%
but your about the 80% of the 100%
And actually funnily enough, with the C virus, the stock market has had a huge crash, and with this many people are buyying stocks in literally everything, to sell again once the market recovers.
spend like 20$ now, sell again in 8 months and you had 60$ for doing literally nothing.
btw i would love that source on "Barely 3 days of 6 hour sleep a week" you are pushing, cause that would be straight up illegal, but i would love to see proof blizz is doign that to their employees, forcing them to work 24/7 except for 3 days a week where they get max 6 hours of sleep.
Also yes, anyone ever who buys blizz products MUST have been tricked and cheated, cause there is no possible way ever anyone would buy anything from them unless they were tricked or cheated!
Yea, it seems like the general public in this community don't understand that employees just move on from jobs eventually, esp in this industry. When you have a company like Blizzard who has a long history of consistently successful games & products, there will be people changing stations, and flowing in/moving out from Blizzard for no other reason than it being the very nature of the corporate ladder. Veteran employees retire or pursue new opportunities elsewhere, new employees take their place. Doesn't always have to be a conspiracy theory, it's just how the job force works at any company.

Yeah you should compare Diablo 3 then with their real money AH PLUS RoS PLUS Necro 'DLC' all of which they charged for, not to mention the how many months drought of any content whatsoever where they abandoned the game? Oh no, how dare the free game PoE try to monetize their abundance of free content and regular seasonal updates along with free overhaul of their game and addition of multiple chapters. I do have to wonder about them blizz fanboys who feel like its a sin to call a spade a spade when it comes to Actiblizz greed.
That dude looks like he loves the gaming industry and the players - as opposed to their wallets.
Activision-Blizzard needed more of these people. Glad to see more of these coming aboard.
It's also a shame that MMO-Champion didn't bother to post a picture of his face, as shown in the the twitter announcement, especially after giving the other parts of the article their corresponding images, as it just oozes 'From Gamers, to Gamers'.
