I wonder if the Texans know they need a GM yet or not.

The Falcons gave up a 2nd and a 5th for Hayden Hurst. Guess teams are trying to look dumb all at once today.

There are people on this subforum who think Bill O'Brien is competent. I ain't one of them.

This dude woulda been fired 2 years ago if Watson wasn't a generational talent carrying his whole damn team to passable mediocrity.

Watson and getting lucky on one trade last season.

No way they get better by trading away Nuk, though. His number's coming.

Also not sure why the 49ers traded away Buckner but here we are, he's going to the Colts. If the Colts land Rivers they might actually be scary next year.

Probably how much he was going to cost, and they back a 1st round pick for him. Makes sense for the long term.

Also, I loved David Johnson, for that one year he was healthy. Even if you're gonna trade away your star player, you should get something good out of it. DJ isn't the same as he was when he came into the NFL.

I would have demanded a 1 with DJ to trade away a top-5 WR. Especially considering the Texans don't have a great WR group past Nuk.

Even that wouldn't have been a good trade. A top 3 WR for a bad contract RB means they need to give you assets for Hopkins AND assets for taking on DJ's contract. Their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd this year plus 2nd next year+DJ for Hopkins would have been reasonable and still likely not a great deal for Houston. This has to be one of the worst trades ever, they basically got a 2nd+bad contract for Hopkins.

Saints re-sign Onyemata, good move for preserving the very good run defense.

    The mind boggles.

I'm sure everyone is wishing that their team had a useless RB on a bloated contract so they could've gotten Hopkins.

ESPN article analyzing the trade is the first worthwhile thing I've read from them in a while.

Its good, the TE market has been really stagnant and they deserve better.

Cap crunch is mangling the Falcons as badly as predicted, cutting Freeman & Trufant is taking on $16mil in dead money to save $8.5m against the cap, oof.

    Bears are signing Jimmy Graham.

    I'm both nervous and not.

Bills sell the farm for Stefon Diggs and a 7th rounder.

Coop resigned for 5 years, 100 million.

That's high now, but wiht greater revenue and a 17th game, wont be as bad soon.

Don't know if I'd call a late first rounder and some change for a talented young wideout "the farm", but I'll take it

There's wideouts that will go in the third round this year you could draft for a #1 starter, giving up a 1st as well as a 5th, 6th and a 2021 4th for a guy who will spend most of his time adjusting to underthrown balls is a terrible piece of business.

Ah, ok, so that is your outlook. I'll make sure Wrong Josh doesn't invite you to his Christmas party next year.

If he tried to send me an invite it'd probably end up somewhere floating in the Atlantic.
