Yeah so not that long ago.

It was still changes that were desperately needed after half of Stormwind was on fire for years on end. Both Stormwind and Orgrimmar could use some graphical upgrades to fit better in with the updated aesthetic we have had since MoP. Doesnt ahve to be massive changes either, Legion dalaran and Darkshore in BfA has shown that simply updating a few trees, adding in some new models and updating the ground textures can work wonders, even when they don't change much at all.

It's how blizzard always does it I guess. The expansion storyline will be in the prepatch and the intro and then during the zones themselves we are focused on worldbuilding instead of telling the story.

We are also missing the quests in between zones. Like going back into the maw and back to Oribos for story etc. They also said a good chunk of the zones will be for max level content. Not that they are locked off, but from what I understood, parts of zones wont have low level quests. Then there will be the max level campaign like the one that lead you to Suramar or in this case the Maw/talking to Bolvar. Then the covenant story and probably a story that continues in the Maw in 9.1.

It isn't just the portal room. You can be literally anywhere in Org and it'll start playing. It's so out of place!

It looks cool but doesn't really look that much faster than running that distance in the time that cast is done. Can you port over obstacles?

It has to be in line of sight, but outdoor it's pretty ok

Normal run speed is 10.5y in 1.5 seconds. Door has 35y range.

That's a pretty big difference. There're plenty of places you have line of sight but no path to. Does anything in the intervening area affect you, or is it a true teleport?

pretty sure you can upgrade it to instant in the datamined covenant upgrades

Seems to be a true teleport. You can go from one cliff to another, no one can do that except DH right now. But still, has to be in line of sight.

I don't like the clickbaity "Queen of the Forsaken" title, it misleads people and makes them start dumb threads on the forums and MMOChamp.

Calia is stating she's staying in Lordaeron to rebuild the Undercity & the Forsaken nominate her as leader. That already happened. In what way is she not the Queen of the Forsaken. She's not horde, which I assumed meant that Lordaeron is effectively neutral like Dalaran. Night Elf Forsaken = Silver Covenant, Blood Elf Forsaken = Sunreavers

And you got it backwards Calia is only connected to the alliance cus lordearon WAS in the alliance. Was the main alliance kingdom in fact. She isnt alliance. She is human. And shes dead. Same as the forsaken. They are just as much alliance as she is.

So if in 2 expansions drama causes friction again it would be interesting to see her be adamant about not bending the knee, if she cares more for her ppl than thebkingdom of stormwind.

Dont forget the original alliance was like...6 human nations, and that only lasted like 10 years. Being human doesnt mean u are the same as other humans.

So yea saying the fordaken are being taken over by alliance cus calia is their queen, because the princess of lordearon was democratically elected to lead lordearon.

Yes u had a quest to raise several and as things go in mmos that could represent hundreds or thousands. Thats why authors like to keep things ambiguous. If they decided the plot would go a different route it might turn out only a few were made. With this route it might turn out there are hundreds if not more
