Reminiscing back to vanilla, I remember picking up a chick in WoW. She was in my guild, we got talking, eventually she flew out to stay with me for a week.
It was OK, she was like 30 pounds heavier than her pictures suggested, but hey, it's a video game.

I wasn't the only one, we had several chicks in my guild pair up with various guys, meet them IRL, bang. At least one of these turned into a serious relationship. There was this one girl I obsessed over, but she put up the facade of "I don't meet people online". Turned out she went and shacked up with my guild leader =(

I also had a girl offer to send me nudes for gold. I took her up on it, it was legit. She actually ended up doing porn thanks to WoW, she got in a guild with some actual LA porn-guys and they paid her $900 to do a "Pure 18" video. She even used her WoW name...

So, if my lame ass could pick up a girl in WoW, I suspect it was a common occurrence. Anyone else got stories?

Today there are easier ways to get sex. dozens of apps for that. didn't have that 10-15 years ago.

Though i think the people who used wow just for casual sex are very limited, since there is usually significant travel distance involved.
