    COVID-19 Film watchlist?

Since most of us are stuck in this quarantine at home and we're either playing games or binging on TV shows or movies, what's some good things to watch with this sort of theme? So far I've seen the following movies and want some ideas for more to binge on (extra points if you can tell what streaming service you can find it on)

    • Outbreak (Netflix)
    • Contagion (streaming service with Cinemax addon)
    • Five Feet Apart (Amazon Prime rental)
    • World War Z (Hulu with Live addon)
    • Train to Bushan (Netflix)
    • Resident Evil franchise
    • Carriers (Netflix)
    • Daybreak (series on Netflix)

I'll edit this post as replies are made for anyone else interested in these sorts of movies.

The best thing to watch isn't a film. Its TV series Counterparts which has an important plot element about a pandemic.

the Stephen King mini series of The Stand.

Been mostly watching documentaries, a number from the Franco-German Arte channel.

Otherwise the first movie that came to my mind was of course 12 Monkeys (1995), you can find it on Netflix.

The fifth episode in the first season of 1990s TV show "Sliders" (Episode name is "Fever") feels almost prophetic given current circumstances.

The show is about 4 people traveling through different parallel universes, and in that one they come to a version of earth where a worldwide pandemic has broken out. It's hammy as shit but still a good watch.

Found this for those who don't want to go looking for and watch the whole thing (SPOILERS):

Yes, great movie and now is a good time to see it. Also 12 Monkeys the TV show is not bad at all, completely different plot but lots of easter eggs, we're watching it now with my family. (I personally have already seen it, one of the rare shows that don't go shit in the last season)

If you're looking for plague/pandemic type things, lots of zombie or pseudo-zombie movie or series applies. Night of the Living Dead(original or Tom Savini's remake), Dawn of the Dead(original or remake), Day of the Dead, Return of the Living Dead, Last Man on Earth, The Omega Man, I Am Legend, Nightmare City, 28 Days/Weeks Later, The Walking Dead(and it's spinoffs), The Crazies(original or remake), Maggie, Pontypool, Quarantine, and I'm sure many others of varying quality.

Some others:Steven King's The Stand, 12 Monkeys(the movie anyways, I dunno about the series), Masque of the Red Death(the 60's Vincent Price one, haven't seen the 80's version but I assume it would count too), The Andromeda Strain, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Cabin Fever(and probably the sequels but I never saw them), The Happening
