Does it have to be celebrities? A certain fanbase that quite annoys me are those of Bitcoin, and I actually have appreciation for the technology but their forums and subreddit makes them look like Wallstreet gamblers.

Fandoms in geek culture especially.

Star War fan bases on both sides of the fence are so toxic. Look at the The Last Jedi, people are still arguing about that movie today lol. As someone who though the movie was just okay, you got these extremes of 'This is SJW Star Wars feminism and diversity running wild' met with 'If you don't like this movie you are problematic and a sexist, racist, and toxic manbaby'

Meanwhile I am here like 'fucking hell, I just wanna see a movie', you all treating it like a bloody war. I literally refuse to share my opinion about movies or fandoms on social media. There's no such thing as a moderate these days... You gotta choose and side dammit xD

Geek fandoms have become this 'with us or against us' mentality, you got a slight criticism you are fucking shoved in with the nazi's and sexists, you got a positive to say then you are an SJW soyboy cuck...

Fandoms make me sad now, as a big old geek growing up in the 90's who loves comics, video games, movies and just geek stuff in general, its became so infected with so much toxicity. It;'s very sad. I am not sure if its a society thing or a social media thing.
