Kelly Loeffler would like to remind us that Kelly Loeffler, salt of the earth hard working American, owns a private jet. And that she's donated a million dollars to a hospital to help it stay open, out of the hundreds of millions she's worth.

And she's a good friend of Trump.

But please, don't forget that she, a regular American who understands the struggles of regular Americans, owns a private jet.
Was that million dollars out of the 10s of millions of dollars she made selling stock based on insider knowledge of intelligence reports?

    Because, um...

Wait...200k per day new cases? Per DAY?

Wouldn't that mean that we'd see a lot more deaths per day as well?

1% death rate without hospitals being over run. @Trunksee What happens when you have a full bore run on hospitals nationwide how high does the 1% go because people can't get care?

The person here was saying that he didn't have to take a small pox vaccination after the epidemic swept through Boston in 1901-1903. Supreme Court ruled as followed:

Harlan ruled that personal liberties could be suspended when "the safety of the general public may demand" for example during a smallpox outbreak. He compared the smallpox outbreak to the American Civil War (in which three out of nine Justices at the term served) by saying that a community has the right to protect itself from both disease and military invasion.[6]

It seems to be that we already have precedent set that the shelter-in-place rules are not unconstitutional and have already been covered by the Supreme Court.

    Exactly that.

30K cases per day = 2K dead per day. So 200K cases per day = around 14K dead per day 3 weeks later.

Now consider the outcome if the rate of growth in cases continues onwards after that date at the same rate. Three weeks later it'll be a million cases per day and not 200K per day. Exponential growth is a bitch.

Holy crap, unironically sharing images of a guy shooting into a cop car.

And apparently the chucklefuck was bragging about building bombs to kill as many law enforcement in a "hard entry at 3am" as possible because they'd be clumped up.

Y'all Queda is a fucking clown show.

I think the greatest irony would be SCOTUS reviewing this case by teleconference.

No no that's not how it works. His skin isn't dark enough to be considered a terrorist in modern America. That's a dedicated patriot -- if you want to see more of them go check out a comment section on a right wing site about the security officer in Flint that was shot in the head because he told the shooter's daughter she had to wear a mask inside a Dollar Tree. They believe gunning down that officer was legit in combating tyranny.

Imagine the outcry if the modern majorly Conservative SCOTUS decided to uphold those rules. Do you think the rabid fan base would cry about legislating from the bench?

Interesting. So if i go and stand around with an AR-15 or AR-10 and full tacticool gear i wouldnt be shot on sight because my skin is actually quite fair? Or my spanish sounding surname would mean that i'm a dirty latino that should get killed on the spot?

    I don't think that's a gamble you'd want to take.

Only if all your tacticool gear is mismatched, ill fitting, incomplete (no helmets, elbow pads, or knee pads, those don't look cool), and functionally useless in any actual combat situation.

Otherwise we're going to have to ask you to go home and return when you're in appropriate attire.

There was a great Twitter/Reddit thread of a dude taking apart the special forces cosplayers in Michigan that I'm trying to hunt down again, but it was so perfect at showing just how pathetic these types are.

Lol. For what i know, actual tactical gear is quite cumbersome, expensive, heavy and uncomfortable to use. I mean, my father was a paratrooper and he always rambled about the 20-30kg+ of gear that he had to use on a training mission. And there're people who actually LARP on a knock-off of said gear.
