The new talking point the deplorable party is using is pretty hilarious. Though god only knows how admitting that they are utterly corrupt is going to help hem. But hey at least the deplorables are being truthful for once.

Those are fine and dandy, check me out being all topical and shit:

U.S. Republicans look to gain election ground on Ebola
    https://www.reuters.com/article/us-h...0IA0BB20141021
Republican Senate candidates have bashed Obama’s handling of Ebola, linking it to border security and calling for a travel ban from West African countries hardest hit by the virus.
    Ebola becomes an election issue
    https://www.cnn.com/2014/10/03/polit...rms/index.html
But Republicans are seizing on the issue as an opportunity to again make the case that President Barack Obama isn't leading effectively. They're highlighting Obama's recent assurance that Ebola was "unlikely" to get to the U.S. and calling for the U.S. to impose new travel restrictions for those countries in Africa where the outbreak began.
Fun bonus from 2014... yes, a year before Trump announced he is running. Beat this schottenfreude:
EBOLA FEARS HELPED THE GOP IN 2014 ELECTION
    https://psmag.com/news/ebola-fears-h...-2014-election
While it can't be said for certain that the same dynamic will play out in future elections, the results at least tentatively suggest that an outbreak of some new infectious disease—if hyped in the media, and thus perceived as a threat—would likely help Donald Trump, at least in areas where he's already reasonably popular.*
This is all I can say to people who think a man whose citizenship was used in court to defend AWAL, saw little or no scrutiny:

Not sure, although it could be to try and maintain a facade. As I understand it, it's considered bad manners to have presidents go around openly bad-mouthing their successors. This way, it's to a private event and totally honestly not intended for the news, I'm dead serious, honest guv!

First, if he knew Watters had the info he could've tried to get out in front of the story before it aired. Second, the specific details here (ie Watters & the speech) could be a coincidence. Ie, Obama knew Barr had been given the "smoking gun" and based his speech on that, whilst entirely separately, Watters was told about Barr getting said info.
    Still not tired of winning.

The smoking gun of a man pleading guilty twice, admitting he did what he did, and.........

Of course he knew it would be leaked.

And so what if its considered bad manners, decorum went out of the window 3 years ago when a chimp got elected to the white house.

So this is how these shameless lawless pieces of shit are going to discredit the entire Mueller investigation, which Trump has so desperately wanted in order to remove the Russia asterisk from his victory*, he tried to get Ukraine to do it for him, but this is even better because it means extra unlimited Obama smearing, how delightful! The destruction of the Justice Department's credibility as an institution is happy collateral damage for a criminal president bent on destroying democratic institutions.

Not sure what can be said about people who used to pretend they valued the rule of law supporting these rat fuckers, but they must think they're going to fare well in a banana republic.
Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect. There is nothing more or else to it, and there never has been, in any place or time. --Frank Wilhoit

The idea that a previous president is talking privately about someone else is somehow outlandish while their Orange-angutan can't go longer than five minutes without "openly bad-mouthing" someone else.

Or that it's somehow unreasonable they discussed how they should handle it. They all just should have remained 100% silent and never spoken about it, even with each other. And now people have convinced mods this is a totes legitimate topic and should be treated like one, even though it's a fucking shameless smear conspiracy theory--an actual hoax, as it happens, but sure, let's give it legs.

Oh and because Obama said, "the rule of law is at risk," which it very fucking is, that's somehow just more proof, because no lie is too big, or absurd, or horrifying, or destructive for them to run with at full shameless speed.

Obama didn't plead guilty twice AFAIK. You're confusing stuff related to Flynn with stuff related to Obama.

Not so much "dancing around" as "ignoring". I'm sure you can figure out my views on it, and we both know neither of us will change our minds based on what the other says, so meh.

Not much to change my mind on, the man pleaded guilty twice. To say it didn't happen is denying reality. When some actual facts are there I go with those rather than going with the person that has made the DOJ the president's personal lawyer and shield, Bill Barr. To trust anything that man says would be asinine, why you do so I can only assume it was a personal choice to stay in ignorance.

Isn't William Barr the same guy who got Epstein out of jail in the 90s?

And yet a patriot hasn't shot him like a dog in the street. I thought your country was full of them (patriots I mean, not dogs).

In Florida in early 2000s, also a Trump staffer, but a different one... I think. He is the guy supposed to be leading the investigation into his suicide, so I’m guessing... nothing to see here, another victory for Trump Justice!

Let's also point out that Trump has spent the last 4 years blaming and attacking Obama, the faux outrage here is pretty pathetic.

This Flynn debacle has made me lose all confidence in the democrats. I'm not going to vote for Creepy Joe and his corrupted gang. Can't believe I'm saying this but I'm gonna bite the bullet and vote DT instead.
