The Mak90s are not that bad. Especially the ones with a milled receiver and some will take most standard AK parts.

They also got the Poly Tech AKs which are excellent, not Norinco but still Chinese. Tho they are a bit of a unicorn.

I don't know, the Sporters remind me of an ungodly union between a CX4 Storm and an AKM. Plus the wood parts suck. And mind you, I've only tried one once, but I'm pretty sure they're not up to the standards of Izhevsk or Tula AKs, plus don't have the same historical/collector's value.
Not keen on Poly Tech either because they tend to replace wood with bakelite (and when they don't it's shitty, pale wood), plus that model with the Galil-like foldable stock is another example of union that wasn't meant to be and looks horrid.
I won't tell you not to like them if you do of course, arguing about taste is rather pointless, but they're just not my cup of tea.
