Such a long statement to basically say, we have still done nothing and have nothing ready.

And that's why the 'next dota' will never happen. DOTA would never had progressed passed a custom map had such a policy existed. Invasive IP 'ownership' hampers development.

The only thing this community loves more than Blizzard games is hating Blizzard as an entity and everything they do while reminiscing about the good old days which quite frankly were shit too. I'm guilty of this sometimes as well. We got an HD overhaul of a game we loved 20 years ago for $30. Yeah I'm still mad at them for being slow with patches, having zero communication, and taking this long to add features that should have been in at launch, but I can't accuse them of false advertisement, the footage you're talking about even had a warning that it was alpha footage and subject to change.

That said I like your sig a lot. lol.
Yeah yeah, alpha trailer with features that did not exist outside of what was playable at Blizzcon, yet made the game much more impressive than it was. Do not dare to argue that the new cutscenes were not superior in every single way. And... for some totally straaaange reason (insert sarcasm here)... hanged up on the game's webpage for a month after release. Or maybe we should talk about only WHEN did they finally say that those pretty cutscenes are gone? Or HOW they did it?
I feel the point would be lost on you, but still...
The game was supposed to be more than HD models, more than just Anasterian the Sunstrider plopped in at the end of Silvermoon mission without a single voice or text line as to why he is here or what even he is. Oh, the h-elf paladin from the Quel'Derrar questline as well.
They heavily emphasised on that, that it was more than just remaster. Sure, not a remake, but we can argue what the "reforged" meant.
And all of that somehow excuses cut features? They cut those features for the people who did not even HAVE the Reforged in the first place.
Ladder, custom campaigns just gone and replaced by 30 gigs of bloat useless to those people. Still not addressed, btw. Still on the list to come. We call it early-access nowadays...
This has been discussed to death, there were people like you at the beginning as well, even as the game sunk to record depths. Blizzard's game, at 0.5 score. Unimaginable, yet it happened. The refund policy alone speaks volumes, IIRC, you still can do it.
It SURELY gotta be the fans fault, just like Blizzard shifted blame on us when they finally spoke. Again, after considerable period of silence.
    P.S.
Yes, Reddit and the official forums are the place to take notice of what fans feel. Where else?! Blizzard has no other places for you to speak and be discussed.
Sure, mob mentality and all that, but all those places drowned in justified criticism, professional reviewers also panned it, less than 6/10 is not something to be proud of.
    P.P.S.
Thanks, it was a special thread. And the guy did not seem to mind ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yup, but do you think Activision really cares? :/
