[Revamp Man]

There could still be panels, and honestly, with no physical crowd it could be more informative. There will be less general excitement channeled, but for those who want ot know about what is acftually going on behind the scenes it could be really good.

I think the panels will be better without them having to stop every two minutes because of screaming

This was very likely going to be a small Blizzcon anyway (not just comparatively to last one but none of the games seem close to finished besides Shadowlands).

95% of conferences serve an important economic function, in that they are valuable venues for communication, collaboration, and networking on domain specific projects. Blizzcon is a marketing stunt you pay out the ass for the privilege of participating in. Nothing of value to the world was really lost.

Normally, I'd say "we haven't seen a vendor build yet, and those usually precede public builds", but I think we had the same thing last week.

I'm guessing info about Castlevania raid + prepatch info and MAYBE release date for prepatch, most likely "in the coming weeks"

It's too early for Beta start, so I guess Ion will explain max level stuff before they'll go to Alpha. Remember he wanted to do Alpha reveal in this for as well.

How is this not perfect? The only complaint is that they won't have paladins or light themed racials.

I would not call it perfect, people wanted what they wanted, doesn't detract from all the character customization updates that we get in SL. It probably will be the feature that gets people in(IMO)
