Nathanos style Fosaken model should be playable

Nathanos-style forsaken is an abomination born of a writter's wish to self-insert himself as Sylvanas' boyfriend.

It has no place with Lordaeron's populance, who are supposed to look like the curved ghouls they are due to how Necromancy massacres the body in Warcraft.

The forsaken are getting bone-free models already (which before anyone ackshuallys me I know is not the same as nathanos).

This is the problem with the "More options are always better!" as an excuse for anything argument, no matter what people are given they always want more to make their OC the specialist little snowflake in all of WoW.

is that this is how undead should be, but as always, blizzard gives the player the worst models, the worst armor, the worst weapons ... and the npc are the ones that have all the best

There actually IS a regular Forsaken who looks like a Human, and it isn't Nathanos. It's Derek Proudmoore, who for NO reason doesn't look Forsaken.

It really depends on if "Sexy Undeads" in the form of Derek (a Forsaken who looks like a human for no good reason) and Calia (a different undead species entirely) are going to happen. Upright Forsaken is one thing, but if they decide to go full on "each faction gets to look like the most popular race" we might actually see more Dereks running around. White skinned straight-back muscle humans with patchy textures on their skin.

I think the potential of more "Lightforged Undead" is zero to none and that they'll keep Calia special like Sylvanas was (that probably being the point of her being special, a wink wink nod) but the potential of more Derek Sexy Undeads is huge.

They could do Sexy Undead and hunched Forsaken as their own two different things, or they'll just call it a day and give Forsaken straight backs. But then they wouldn't have the same model as humans.

Blizzard could use Derek as precedence for a new subrace of Forsaken that use the human model. There is no special lore for him looking this way.

It's likely going to be one or the other. It would just be skinny human vs muscle human at that point (and muscles only for the males).

Ah yes, the guy that was miraculously extremely well preserved despite being under water for about 30 years.. totally didn't bloat or get eaten by the sea life.

Slap a similar aesthetic onto any race, describe it as undead and it'll look just as good. Undead night elves, undead high elves, undead dwarves, undead orcs... they'll all fit right in with the ashy skintones and red eyes.

In fact, there's absolutely no reason at all for him to look as preserved as he is because all the previous lore sources indicated that he had been turned into ash at the moment of his demise.

Embalmers took care of him. This means that new Forsaken of importance would look like that too.

But yes, I do agree. So many possibilities opened up with them caving and giving the Alliance basically a 1-by-1 full character style from the Horde side, as opposed to mere model with distinct features separating the factions.

Edit: Ok, maybe it's not yet a 1-by-1 exact copy, but it's probably rubbing close on such, enough to warrant the OP's request.

At least it would maybe change the fact that 90 % of the Horde are currently Elves. People who play Horde like to think they are “badass”, but at the same time they play a female blood elf.

I'm mostly amused by the guys that go like "OMG, now we opened pandoras box. I can't wait for what they are going to ask next !!11", but so far most of the crazy demands are from people being offened by blue eyes for elves and making troll threads.
