People "not clicking the link" need a shot of haloperidol asap, their paranoid schizophrenia is acting up again.

On topic - I wanted a San'layn, but since some people got an elven PTSD thanks to the high-elf deviants flooding forums with their non-stop bitching/begging, we've got Blizzard pulling out a new vampire race out of their asses - Venthyr, which I fully expect to be playable.

    I with you here man.

In my D&D campaigns I always opt for those "monster races" Gnoll was one of those, and I loved to play him so much, it just made the world a bigger place you know? I quite enjoyed him. I think that they would also be great additions to the game, maybe stormwind finally struck a truce with the local gnolls? Hell, maybe even hogger could be the racial leader, I would love that.

The majority of the races in the poll are races that are hostile to both the Alliance and Horde. for that reason, I don't see most all of these races ever being playable.

I voted drakonids. I've always wanted a playable dragon in the game, especially after my lizard character on DOS II. It could even be a good candidate for a worgen AR, with a Two Forms ability to change to mortal form.

    That's wrong.
The Alliance kill Dreven and some Sanl'Layn then flee when the horde strike back.

When the Horde player return from his underwater mission, the Alliance has fled and if you go to the second horde ship, you see that Sanl'Layn disciple are still 'alive' on the boat.

There is also some missing San'layn prince from LK that are probably in activity.

Dreven was randomly created for BfA. Before that, all the princes were killed. There is no "missing" San'layn prince. We kill their queen, the princess, and all the princes. https://wow.gamepedia.com/San%27layn the San'layn were wiped out by the Alliance, dude.

The missing princse people are talking about are 3 princes.
That were part in wotlk, it is right there in the page you linked.

Bfa was showing us, that they are still here. He even has a darkflight where he could go if he wasnt stopped. I mean where would he even go?? Other setlements?Legion gave us blood queens daughter out of nowhere remember, if they want to they could create lore out of thin air.. specially if 3 of them are listed and unknown status, that is already more stufd to go to, compared to void elves who are new and have barely and hooks. San layn has been a hot topic for years..Dreven was a cool character, but ultimately showed that they are not a trustworthy ally.

Sorry to disappoint you buy the Alliance failed. They had to flee when the Nathanos arrived and the Horde player can find San'layn survivor.

I will see for an update of the page

And as Alanar pointed, Nothing prevent Blizzard to add as many San'layn or any other race presumed extinct anytime they want like Dark Troll or Aldrachi if they really want it.

Are they done? Yea dont think so. We will hear from them again soon with links to yhe vampiric venthyr
If they bring San'layn back in Shadowlands, it will just cement that Blizzard doesn't give a fuck about their own lore and that the game is now trash. Everything else about Shadowlands story is terrible so I guess why not just throw on some shit flavored whipped cream.

I think you are missing a few links here and there, because if they do, they do give a F about their lore and here is why.

The San'layn are Vampiric in nature and had their own wing in icc, acting as high ranking overseers and were 1 of the 4 powers within the army of Arthas or the Scourge. They had a curse (replacing or on top of their mana addiction) that made them vampires, unexplained in wrath and it felt like they were just there and being powerfull. Imo a shame we never got the full picture, the creature page for example on the offical wrath website never added the San'layn altho it was there the whole time, but greyed out. I always wondered where these guys came from, I mean we know they are fallen blood elves and appearntly a very select few of Kael's most powerfull soldiers that died in Northrend and were raised by Arthas, but like why do we have vampires in the scourge out of nowhere? The Vrykul back in Alpha wrath were suppose to be vampiric in nature as well, which is interesting, because we see a San'layn prince directly talking to a couple Vrykul in Utgardes keep for example, which was a little off at the time (still is a bit)The vampiric nature of the vrykul was never realy expanded upon and never made it live for some reason. We still have that prince as a boss in Utgarde keep for no real reason mentioned besides that they are overseers and just keeping an eye on everything. I guess it would have been to much of ruling force, I mean the Vrykul were literally everywhere in Wrath so it could have been to much.

Then out of nowhere we have the Venthyr, Vampiric origin race, created In the shadowlands… the place where Arthas got hes power from and went and created the San'layn from. One of the Wings.. I mean covenants in shadowlands are the Venthyr.. it does ring a bell or 2 imo and then ofc there is this whole peculation with Danathrius and all of that. I think there was a tweet, where this speculation was praied by a blue which is interesting as well. You can speculate on maybe the San'layn got their curse through the Venthyr and are the San'layn just a fraction of that bigger picture. With that said, don't act surprised when we get a confirmation on the Nathrezim being linked as well.

So are the San'layn dead for good? if they are, we have the Venthyr replacing them.

Races that deserve to be in the game and it's a crime they aren't already:
    Horde - Ogres
    Alliance - Furbolg

    Races I'd like:
Sethrak, Arakkoa, Ethereal, Faun, Venthyr, Gnoll

I don't really care what faction they go to but
    Alliance - Sethrak, Ethereal, Faun
    Horde - Arakkoa, Venthyr, Gnoll

Would make the most sense to me.

    Allied Races I want:
Alliance - Broken, Vrykul, Drakonid, Saberon
    Horde - Taunka, Forest/Ice/buffIsland Trolls, Mok'nathal, Mogu

That can be fixed with Kael'Thas becoming the leader of Revendreth, the land of literal vampires.

I so want Sethrak in the alliance. It needs to happen!
Especially now that Vulpera are in the horde.

I would like Saberon as well.

Can i add i want to return mechagnomes? If only they had been the creations of mimiron rather than mutilated gnomes.

There are no demons on that list. Sylvar are the Night Fae Fauns. That would be closest to Satyrs from that selection.
