EFL encompasses the top four divisions, but yes, the EFL Championship is the second division. Because why would we have a naming system that makes sense?

The Premier League is not part of the English Football League, having been formed in 1992 when the top 22 clubs decided to set up their own league to take advantage of the rise of pay-tv revenues.

Before the Premier League broke away, the Championship was known as "Division Two", changing to "The Football League First Division" from 1992 to 2004 and from then onwards "The Football League Championship" (you can blame Skybet for that ).

Probably the best thing that's come out of this. 5 substitutes a game up from 3, 9 man benches.

I don't think it plans to be, but if it is well received then it should be.

Imagine the talks are true and Chelsea get Werner. Ziyech crosses with Werner finishes. Boy I can't get more erect.

It seemed like Liverpool abandoned the idea (too expensive) and Chelsea still has pocket change from Hazard and Morata (thanks Atletico).

Good bit of business. Replacing Morata with Werner for around the same price. Clubs need to copy real madrid and set buy out clauses at one billion.

But I guess RB Leipzig/German clubs outside of Bayern cant quite pull those kind of negotiations with talented youngsters looking for a bit more experience before a big move so wont agree to a crazy high buy out clause.

Shame more athletes are not like Marcus Rashford.

His work for charity during the lock down has been remarkable

Hopefully Ole can pat Jose's head again this weekend!

Ye really looking forward to it as well! Watched some Bundesliga games the last few weeks and bloody hell it's boring with empty stadiums tho!! Really hope premier league manage to get some good fake atmospheres going throught the speakers in the stadiums or what the plan was because it really sucks with empty stands
