[Megathread] Humble Bundle & Other Digital Sales

For anyone who has Amazon Prime and doesn't already know, you also get Twitch Prime for free. In addition to giving you a free twitch sub to the account of your choice every month, they also give away free games and such. It used to be pretty good but lately they have switched to mostly giving away free crap in various mobile and F2P games as well as a handful of indie games. Well starting today they are also giving out a handful of pretty sweet classic SNK games like Fatal Fury Special, King of Fighters 2000 and 2002, and Samurai Showdown 2 along with a few others. Probably nothing I would say to go out and sign up for Twitch Prime for, but if you are someone who, like me, already pays for Amazon Prime, it is a pretty solid freebie.

Ive gotten a few good games from the prime loot but i also notice that most of the games tend to be games that either were given away free recently or were in another bundle.

Yeah, I certainly have a fair amount of overlap between Epic, Humble, and Twitch Prime. It has been awhile since I have purchased a humble bundle for this reason. Most of the time I already have most of the games I would want and even when I don't own them, I am hesitant to add more games to the growing list of games I own but have not played. That is mostly my fault of course. I own a ton of games I could be playing and instead I have put over 100 hours into Terraria over the past couple of weeks, I game I have owned for many years.

I have a soft spot for the Pre-Sequel.

Also yeah, quite a few of those codes were dead, namely the 20 keys, 25 keys, a lot of the 5 keys as well as the gun and skins keys.

I didn't really like Pre-Sequel it's basically a weaker version of 2. So still better than one but a lot more running around than you'd ever be forced to do in 2, not to mention relying too much on the low gravity gimmick.

If anyone missed it, EA is working with Steam again and have launched/relaunched a bunch of their top hits. Several EA games (including new ones) are also on sale right now. In the near future the EA pass will work in sync with Steam as well

then raising the price to 15$ during a sale, just so it looks like a better deal. :x

Well, to be fair, they did announce last year that they would be bringing games back to Steam.

Still think you need to login in orgin also, wish i could couple origin to steam so the few games i have on origin would come over on to steam.

For those looking at the EA games, look at some of the bundles first by clicking the pages.

The main ones I saw bundled so far are was the Bioware Bundle:

Lots of people complain about the monthly regularly but this is actually the first time the bundle has been a total disappointment to me. While there's been lots of months with games I'd never heard of, usually there were at least one or two in there that sounded cool and we were interested in checking it out. This month, literally no game between both me and my spouse that we would want and don't already have. Most of these we both already have from prior bundles and the remainder are not things of interest to either of us.

I agree with Tziva, although I would just like to promote Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, which was utterly fantastic if you haven't already played it. I do, however, find it odd that they'd put it in this Monthly, considering it was a headliner for July 2019's Monthly...
