Legion's gone, Sargeras is chilling with Illidan. What happens to the demon hunters? No demons to hunt anymore.

Apparently killing wildlife and collecting stuff for two factions they didn't technically join.
The demons may not have an engine to give them immortality anymore but there is a literal entire universe of them both outside and inside of the nether lol.
Sharing a few drinks with dk's in a bar.

THEY HAVE SACRIFICED EVERYTHING!!!!!!
WHAT HAVE YOU GIVEN?!?!
Same as death knights... make money for bli$$ard!
Them and the DK's take turns hosting angsty slam poetry and miniature war gaming parties at Acherus and the Fel Hammer.
Seriously the legion as a unified force is spent for now ys, but most high-level demons we know are still alive so they probably fight those splinter factions.
Chill on the fel hammer...what else is there to do?
Like the Death Knights, the Demon Hunters are probably highly valued specialists by both the Horde and the Alliance. Where the Death Knights are more like elite infantry or cavalry, the Demon Hunters are likely employed as forward scouts and high-value target assassins - given their ability to take on massive demons using their Fel abilities coupled with unparalleled maneuverability in melee.

Hunt Demons that are still plotting shit, help out their respective faction, etc.
Feel overpowered in a world that has no major threats coming at it.
1. Oh you want mobility, here how about we give you a dash AND flight
2. Mobility isnt enough? Ok how about we add a SNARE to your mobility
3. Man all that damage is great...but it feels....soo....linear. I know, lets add a leech to your damage.
4. so....thats druids and deathknights checked off...wait wtf, how come paladins have a bubble and I DONT?! This cant be real. Heressss an immmunniiityyy.
5. whos left...i have this sneaking suspicion that I am missing something. Oh I know how about a button that lets me see stealth. Awesome. And while I am at it, get me a magic debuff, an area dmg reduc and an evasion too. Thanks.
6. wow people can CC stuff? I want that too, ill just call it imprison but it doesnt just work on demons ok?! Also, I want purge. But better. Make it give me resources. cuz shamans suck so lets kick them some more.
Honestly.
as a havoc main. Everytime I have logged on since Legion I have expected to either:
1. See MASSIVE nerfs
2. My character silently deleted by blizzard or made into an NPC.
I truly cannot believe, everytime I play my DH, that this thing is a live playable spec. I have played everything except rogue and mage (cuz they are boring as hell and I cannot level them past 20), and nothing feels as polished as this thing by a mile.
Blood Elves were based on a STRONG request from a poll of Asian players where many remarked on the Horde side that they and their girlfriends wanted a non-creepy femme race to play (Source)
Lady Tamakeen is a Black Iron Death Knight stationed in Boralus, as is Galdon the Glacial (Gnome DK) who fights for the Alliance in the Gilneas brawl. General Blackstone is a Forsaken Death Knight active in Stormsong Valley, as is Kaln Vilehoof (Tauren Death Knight) at Warfang Hold. Duchess Fallensong the Frigid (Blood Elf DK) is active during the Assaults on Drustvar. The Horde also fields a variety of Death Guard and Death Captain NPC's which are tagged as DK's. The Horde seems to field more NPC DK's than the Alliance, all told.
As for Demon Hunters, the Alliance fields Celaryn the Frenzied and Raize Shadespear in the Arathi Basin brawl, whereas the Horde fields Nylaria the Haunted and Sylareon Silverblade in the same brawl.

Hunting evil is kind of their thing, and it's not like all demons just stopped existing...
Many probably preparing (heh) in case Sargeras comes back or if another Titan falls (like Argus).
Wait ten years for some somewhat decent lore that'll end up falling flat on its face the expansion or two after.
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
Lorewise, they were as cool in Legion as they felt out of place in BfA. Illidari don't seem to give a flying !@#$ about faction matters, their only loyalty is towards Illidan and their only goal is to... hunt demons, duh. Both of which do not apply anymore as of BfA.
