I almost only ever play female characters when possible, and a relationship with Tali isn't possible for femshep, so I stuck with Liara throughout the original ME trilogy. I so wished I could pick Tali though. Always thought quarians were some of the most interesting characters in the ME universe.

There are some games i play for the nostalgia but only for like a day at most. As for WOW i sometimes take a few months brake but i always plan to and actually do return when the next major patch hits.

I know what you are about to post soon.

On-topic: Through some... unofficial means I love going back to playing the Shadow Hearts series as well as Skyrim because of how mods can keep it quite fresh.

I love ME: A, I know we're getting more ME eventually but the fact we probably won't see Andromeda again really makes me quite sad, it didn't deserve the treatment it got
Agreed 100%. All the memes and stuff seemed intent on damaging it before it even came out. And then you have sites like PC Gamer who went out of their way to spam 'Andromeda is bad and Bioware should feel bad' articles (which they did again with Anthem).

It makes no sense to me because practically all AAA games ship with horrendous amounts of bugs and glitches these days. I watched a nearly half-hour video of dozens of insane bugs in RDR2, like 'how did this get past QA' level bugs... where was all the vitriol for that game?

Anyway, I'm also bummed that we're probably never going to see that corner of the ME universe again.

You really need to. Jennifer Hale KILLS it as the female Shepard. Especially in ME2/ME3... her performance is one of the best things about the trilogy IMO.

I would have totally picked Tali if she wasn't locked to one gender.

ME trilogy is all but confirmed for this fiscal year, is it not? I'm looking forward to jumping back in but some parts of the first game haven't aged well. Hopefully that is rectified.

I'm hoping they remake it. A remaster isn't going to fix the gameplay which, as you said, has not aged well.

-Final Fantasy IX. No idea how many times I have played it.

-Okami. Whenever I miss Japan I play this game, which happens to be quite often.

-Minecraft. I play this in periods, then don't touch it for a while.

-Dragon Age: Inquisition. Don't know why really. I guess I just find it calming running around collecting shit.

    - Paradox grand strategy games (EU4, CK2 and Stellaris much more often than HoI4 and I:R).
    - Original Crash Bandicoot and Spyro games (the remakes were amazing and I can't wait for the new Crash game). Also other Naughty Dog and Insomniac games, though in those cases the hardware makes it a hassle.
    - ME 1-3, Dragon Age: Origins. Some olther classic RPGs as well.
    - Much newer RPG in form of Divinity: Original Sin 2 (even if BG3 was a copy of D:OS2 in BG setting - which it isn't - it still would be amazing).
    - Also the Witcher trilogy. Cyberpunk can't come quickly enough.
    - The new Deus Ex games and Dishonored games (some of the best level design in all of gaming and amazing stealth gameplay).
    - Warhammer: Total War 2. Sometimes some other Total War games, with Medieval being in the lead of the historical ones.
    - Various other strategy games (nowadays it's mostly turn based ones aside from grand strategy games).
    - Ori, Hollow Knight, Dead Cells and the Binding of Isaac.
    - Elder Scrolls and Bethesda's Fallout games.
    - Various fighting games, especially Tekken and Soul Calibur. Though if SEGA ever made a new Virtua Fighter that would take the cake for me in fighting games department.
    - Cities Skylines and some other simulations (not necessarily of the city variety).
    - The Sims 3 and 4. Mostly 4 these days. Even with how much I prefer the open world of the 3rd one, there are so many mechanic improvements in the 4th one in pretty much all other areas that it makes it hard to play without them.
    - Monster Hunter World and Warhammer: Vermintide 2.
    - Some of the better AC and Tomb Raider games. Also Shadow of War for the Nemesis system.
    - Occasional Spore and Diablo III.
    - Sadly, League of Legends.

And, as for games I haven't replayed yet but will for sure in the future: PS4's God of War and Horizon: Zero Dawn.

Was it? I had rather weak PC back then but Spore ran more than OK for me in interstellar stage even when my empire spanned a galactic arm.

There are many terms to describe people who play male Shep and genuinely don't pick Tali and none of them are nice. The only valid reason to go non-Tali route is to see her hook up with Garrus instead. And yeah, Quarians are awesome. Aside from them being complete assholes to the Geth, that is. Lack of Quarian DLC in Andormeda was disappointing to say the least. I had no idea about that being covered in a book though, will have to check that out.

If you play fem Shep, you are legally obligated to pick Garrus.

I loved the shit out of Inquisition. I had an amazing Qunari mage Inquisitor... I'd still play the game from time to time if I didn't have so many issues with Origin crashing.

The game I've probaby gone back to the most over the years is Oblivion. Of the modern Elder Scrolls games, I like it's overall atmosphere the most. Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess are pretty high up there as well. Don't get me wrong, I loved OoT when it came out, but Majora's Mask blew me away, and Twilight Princess is the pinnacle of non BotW-style 3D Zelda.

And now that you mention it, I've replayed a few of the Mega Man X games seeeeeveral times.

Oh and some classic FPS like Doom and Nuke Nukem 3D I'll replay once every few years.

yeah for some guys it was all about Majoras, which is quite the gem too just that at the time i never really own it and i found it "difficult" to play it, mainly cuz of the 3 day rule i guess, anyway never really own it and zelda games arent one of those for rental and expect it to beat it in two days, but definitely a masterpiece, megaman x series are a constant too, but cant help to play the classic nes ones way more

Destiny. I will go months without touching that game and then jump back into it and lose myself for weeks and months at a time.

Gotta have respect for classic mega man games, but I enjoy all the enhanced platforming from the X series more than the fairly basic run and gun of the originals.

I remember being very disappointed with the original ending of the game and the fact it had a mission table (I played WoD at the time and I was not amused), and I lost my original save file due to a PS4 getting toasted, but I always tend to return to the game somehow. Trespasser DLC gave the game a proper ending and I love to play that part and makes the rest of the game more interesting in turn.

Agreed, Trespasser was a good cap to the story. It was nice to see Bioware stick the landing after the debacle of ME3.

    Well... WoW...

and basically every Blizz game. Because for all their flaws they are great games even HotS.
Also: CIV 5&6, STellaris, Minecraft and the bioware games

Definitely, just sad they had to put it in a DLC. I hope the devs don't get so rushed on DA4 but it seems they learned after Anthem to a certain degree. Crossing my fingers for a good sequel because I want to know what happens to Solas and his quest.

Ah yes, i am thinking about a quick ME-rerun (starting with 2 and old saves) before the remaster hits.
These rumours sound delicious, but take them with a grain of salt.
