When someone 'wins' in politics it doesn't necessarily mean they were smarter than their opponents. I mean how often has some dumbass in a job been promoted to management over all the other smarter more hard working candidates solely because he managed to brown nose in the right way or were golf buddies with the boss? That person being a brown nose doesn't mean they were smarter, just they were better at being a brown nose.

Trump won because of anger and hate, not due to intelligence on his part. So saying he is dumb is not insinuating "Well that means Hillary and everyone else was even dumber!" That's not how that works in the slightest. Nor does it mean the democrats didn't make mistakes or played the perfect game, there are multiple factors and variables.

Fact is, Trump thinks he's an expert on everything above and beyond the actual experts without any actual experience/knowledge in their field. That's not a sign of intelligence that's the sign of an idiot.
