Why yes, the explosions near nuclear sites are especially lovely.
Why apply as a refugee somewhere where I already have citizenship, lol? Y'all keep trying for these silly gotchas because you're arguing against a caricature in your head rather than someone who has espoused left wing views as a result of life experience and being well-read and traveled rather than being naive as y'all continually like to claim.
Let's play a fun game, it's called "centrists" stay in their lane and keep their hot takes to themselves.

Remarkable, you managed to get it all wrong. It was a bitter remark yet one made in jest, I'm in no way a centrist, and if I were you I wouldn't bring caricatures into the discussion - and I'm not talking about your avatar. Referring to the sweeping generalizations and baseless assumptions, more like.
Right now? Anyone not saying healthcare, has their priorities fucked. 130000 dead... can you even grasp what amount of people that is?
Edit: Am in Seattle... not a mess... we are sending supplies to Florida... because there is no national response. US has no leadership...

Oh god... if their tears were just not so delicious... it’s the fruit of the gods... Eve didn’t taste a perfect fruit in an apple or pear or what ever they want you to believe... liberal tears is the nectar of the gods...

Not like the democrats who's entire platform is about middle class growth would do that... nope... not like government funded healthcare, and schooling helps the working class nope..
You know what helps the working class? Giving corporations trillions, so they can lay off the working class and then buy back their own stock thereby not creating any jobs but just fabricating extra wealth in what used to be stock manipulation until another republican actor got rid of the law that made it illegal. That certainly helps the yeomen, right?
That doesn't happen.
The system you're describing is what leads to people having poisoned drinking water and rivers catching on fire.
You know what stops that, and is the only thing that stops that? Government regulation.
"unending growth" is far more unobtainable than "sustainability."I support rapid development and i'm against that which inhibits growth. I view sustainability as not only impossible but not even desirable compared to constant evolution and change and solving problems through technological advancement.
In fact, a lack of sustainability is why growth ends.
A company that runs out of capital because it ran through it all goes bankrupt. They don't just "keep growing forever."
You do know that Coruscant is a shithole of corruption with a shiny veneer on top in the star wars universe, right? Like, that it was intentionally designed that way? Also i'm a pure humanist and not an environmentalist so let's say we turned Earth into a Coruscant-like planet in the future with trillions of people that have displaced the environment I would view that as progress and not as a "dystopia".
It gave rise to and was led by the fucking evil emperor. Talk about missing the point.
Do you also applaud the Empire for constructing a means that so readily and swiftly deals with "unwieldy protestors" in the form of the Death Star?
It's interesting to see that the people that support Trump do so because they fear imaginary boogeymen like "SJWs rewriting history," fear imagined slights like "Censoring the white male journey" and misconstrue "corporations choosing not to host opinions" as "abrogation of free speech."
Like this drek right here:
It's a pretty good summary of all of the imagined nonsense that Trump supporters fear "coming for them around the corner" despite having zero basis in any actual liberal policy or legal actions taken in the United States.
Meanwhile, the people that oppose Trump disapprove of... his complete bungling of the coronavirus situation, leading to hundreds of thousands of American deaths (a situation he has still not come close to helming, nor one that shows any signs of slowing down,) the dissolution of American power across the globe, the praising of autocrat dictators, his complete lack of any sort of political competency, and his inability to pass any legislation or helm any initiative that isn't a token gesture ("Build the wall fence") or a simple means with which to rather obviously personally enrich himself or his corporate friends. (still hasn't divested himself from his businesses.) Couple that with a completely hypocritical stance on almost everything (criticized Obama for golfing, golfs more than Obama ever did, criticized Obama's handling of ebola, has lost thousands of Americans to Covid... I could go on) and I can see absolutely zero reason to support the man. Not a one.
So ask yourself, Trump supporters, which of those things is actually real and impacting human lives, and which is just something you grew scared of because of someone with multicolored hair saying mean things on Tumblr?
Trump has had four years to do... anything. And all I see is an America WEAKER than when Trump became president, due in VERY large part to his actions and his inability to lead as president.
