120 dollar is worth it dudes. Stop being poor

All the stuff you get its 100% worth it!

And as always €120 which currently is $136... but then again I think NA pays taxes on top of their $120 while EU has taxes already included.

Fall, eh? That could mean as late as November 21 which I'm fine with. Give Beta as much time as it needs for a polished final product.

Not trolling, or anything, imho this col. ed is the only thing I care about next xpac (which honestly looks like Argus 2.0 patch..

Got all col. editions, was really mad they removed art book last time, and also for Starcraft II Legacy of the Void where we got a "field manual" instead...

Did you buy it digitally first? Because yeah you would then get a refund of the difference.

Now we're jumping up to $120 for foil packaging? Yeah, they brought back the artbook, but I'm not looking to spend an extra $30-50 for a coin or some pins. The box is the display item, like it was for all the expansions before BFA.
    Every single CE was 100€.

No, they haven't. BFA was the first to go past that price point. Looking back at my Amazon purchase history, they were mostly around 70 dollars, up to and including Legion. What gets me is your actually getting less now. No more making of DVD and a digital soundtrack instead of a CD for almost twice the price. Don't support this nonsense.

Regardless of price or content, that's the coolest looking box art so far.

I think 120$ is a jarring price when you first look at it, but when you take a step back and reasonably look at everything you're getting as a whole it actually looks like a pretty good deal. Now people may not be a fan of certain aspects of the set which could lower its values in their minds but that's personal preference I suppose.

    Thanks, I stand corrected.

Not an unresonable price guess for a hour-ish of music

Those prices and product-tiers reek of Activision squeeze.

    Epic Upgrade +$20
adds pet, toy, enchant, and gametime

    CE +$40
adds Art book, Music disc, pins, mousepad, and shiny box.

    My breakdown:
$40 seems pretty fair for a once every 2 year cost.
Heroic seems like a standard shop mount for $20 with free boost added
Epic adds a $5 store pet plus $15 gametime with some free toys added
Art book would retail for $20
Music disc would retail for $10
    Mouse pad for $5
    Pins for $5
    Shiniest box evar - FREE

$120 is a lot, but I don't think they are actually gouging on anything.

I think Blizzard should be highly praised for adding such flexible options and that doesn't even include the ability to pre-purchase the game now and get a full credit to Blizzard balance on release.

You could just get the digital one and then buy a used CE for probably less than 40$ on ebay.

Or an even better idea. Don't buy CEs and spend your money on something useful instead. Companies have tricked you into believing that you need this shit and you don't.

$120 my ass. Especially when you can end up buying them brand new months later for half the cost since were long past the days of vanilla, tbc, and wrath where collector editions are hard to come by.
While true, to be fair, I just sold an unopened Legion CE for $280 on Ebay a month ago.

But yeah... this is absurd. I'm hoping Shadowlands ends up being good enough to warrant this, but seriously, wtf... x_x
