[Feedback] A solution for Covenant-Curiosity - Please NOT just a "training area"

    -----

Ion Hazzikostas said on the Preach interview the "curiosity" part of the Covenant situation is easily fixed with something like a "training area" to test each Covenant Spell.

    -----

    My Feedback-Request:

Please create a fully fledged system to test the ENTIRE customization options in ACTUAL non-competitive content.

Mythic zero (or just Heroic Dungeons)
    Skirmish
    LFR
    Random Battlegrounds

    For a limited time-only

    How could it work?
    Hum...
You can only try the customization options of another covenant UP TO the current renown level of your CURRENT Covenant

    For example:
If your current Covenant renown level is up to the part where you can create a legendary item and have all soulbinds available...
    Then
You can try another covenant with all the same customization options available in actual content (non-competitive) for a limited time or attempts.

    ------

    What do you guys think?

You can only do this once per week

    Better?

Blizzard is already implementing a training area...

I think this is an absolutely TERRIBLE suggestion, and i think you need to stop spamming the forums posting the same thread over and over again about the covenants, when you have claimed multiple times you dont care about them.

God this really is a terrible, terrible suggestion - its just not at all grounded in reality.

Source? Saying they have some ideas about potentially looking into a training area, and "blizzard is already implementing a training area" are NOT the same thing - you are being dishonest - AGAIN.

Covenant abilities should've altered current class spells.

You all act like the game doesnt constantly change.
Shit will get tweaked constantly just to mess with the min-maxers.

Blizzard already does a shit job of balancing things, you think making them waste a bunch of time randomly tweaking things is going to help that situation?
A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and don’t have one, you’ll probably never need one again.

No other MMORPG has permanent player decisions after the character creation screen. Even Ashes of Creation, which is about as close to EverQuest as we're ever going to get these days, allows you to change your secondary specialisation frequently,

Decisions work in single player or coop rpgs, not MMO's where tuning can happen every other day, week or month that drastically changes the power level of your choice.

And this is Blizzard, they have form when it comes to nerfing things on the fly whenever they deem it overly powerful.

What gives you the impression they make these changes "just to mess with the min-maxers"? Is that just your bias showing, or do you have something to support that claim?

No. This whole system is a disaster and there’s 100% chance blizzard will have to swallow their pride and cave and make the system more fluid and interchangeable.

0% chance the covenants maintain as is long after launch. It is absolutely a disaster in the making and even if they change it’ll be too late, the damage will be done to destroy the expac for many players unless they cave and fix it

Ashes of Creation will have very impactfull decision. Mabe not pernament but iut will take you months to change your decision. They alredy confirmend that leveling char will take loooonnngg time so this i huge commitment alredy. In wow it really isnt commitment at all becouse you can just buy your way to max level and even leveling takes just couple of hours. So class/race choice isnt so impactfull as it was back in vannilla and TBC.

And decisions totaly work in mmorpg games. Problem is that people like you asume that everybody plays same way you do which is completly incorect.
I suggest you to watch Kevin Jordan video on Preach vs Ion video becouse he gives really good explanation why Preach is wrong in many cases.

So Blizzard should also now allow you to swap classes or what? You really want every single player be exact same and play exact same way? Becouse thats what will happen if you leave covenants swapable. In moment you allow covienient and easy swaping people will be forced swap into meta, get bored and propably even quit game becouse they have to play something they dont enyoj.

Nobady can demand having this and that covenant if entire playerbase is locked into their decision. Nobady. Its nor reasonable demand to make. And player what will do it will end up 3 hours looking for optimal players.

Remove abilities from covenants and be done with stupid design decision.

Or just give each covenant the same abilities but unique cosmetic flavors to each

This entire system is built so poorly that it will ruin the expansion if not corrected

Things are fine as is and pelpe need to stop asking Blizzard to cater the game solely to them

Stop asking Blizzard to cater the game solely to you.

Actually I am not asking Blizzard to cater the game solely to me because I am fine with whatever Blizzard puts out.

That actually means your opinion has no value to blizzard (or anyone else), since you'll buy their product regardless of quality.

Not true at all. I look at the prodcut as a whole and in general, not simply one feature and how it specifically works. If the expansion sounds interesting I'll buy otherwise I won't.

Which one is it, son? You are buying whatever crap they produce or you make a conscious decision?
