I do a bit of jogging in the current soup were in. The path is popular and nobody wears a mask. I imagine if they tried to force the issue, I can see a person wringing the sopping wet mask in front of a cop.

Few things here, if you're running you are what they call a super spreader so are others, so running there without a mask is a good way to get it. And that depends where you are from but once a region gets struck and things get taken more serious you'll simply be arrested and fined. Luckily we aren't an anti-social people and while we do object, we look out for others so most people wear a mask.

Its like there's a red hot burner on the stove with a big sign that says 'Do Not Touch' but ever 5 min someone touches it even after they saw the person in front of them get 3rd degree burns from touching it.

I guess that depends where you live if that's your believe or not, since if you're from here warmer weather does mean harder to breath due to humidity and so on.

The air hear is wetter than a bathroom with hot shower running. It's not that bad and no worse than the already damp air. For 99% of people that 'I can't breathe in a mask' feeling is psychosomatic if not in their head all together.

That mask designed to keep droplets from entering and leaving your body. Humidity comes from water droplets in the air. Know what the mask is going to do? Filter those droplets.

Actually not the media but churches are petri dishes due to the chanting and singing which has been shown to spread the virus. A casino doesn't have people as tightly packed together as a church and there is no chanting or singing. It is far easier to make a Casino safe than a church besides you don't need a church to worship it's just a building.

To be fair you don't need a physical casino to gamble either, there are online variants (the legality of both physical and online casinos will depend on your jurisdiction).

Personally, I'm choosing not to visit anything other than what's absolutely needed. So no to casinos, movies theaters (though the wife and I did go to a drive in where you stay in your own car), dine in restaurant, sporting event, etc.

Speaking of sports, baseball has already had to cancel 2 games today. 12 Marlins players and 2 coaches tested positive over the weekend, while in Philly. So the Marlins home opener against Baltimore was cancelled as well as the Phillies game against the Yankees.

From a purist political standpoint you are 100% correct.

From a practical what happens in the real world standpoint, your position leads to lots of death.

When someone does not wear a mask, it is not clear who this will cause to die, and in many cases no one dies.

However, in situations where lots of people do not wear masks, about 2 weeks later a lot of people get infected with the virus, and a couple of weeks later than that some of those people die. So it is not clear which person not wearing a mask is the person causing which deaths.

So technically you are correct.

In the real world, the one we live in, when people do not wear masks, the virus spreads and people die. In the US, tens of thousands of them.

Once they start to enforce it they do, we had cops in civilian clothes checking out businesses all week-end. Apparently the limit for how many can be on one table is 10 still. While harder to track than simply masks the fines are the same, 250 euros. As to how much people really care, well people care enough to call the cops on their neighbours if they suspect more than a few hanging around for a bbq.

There is also talks of now keeping it this way till the infections reach zero. So i am pretty sure the summer for me is over in addition to them being stricter i also have to worry about the health of others and myself.
