Sales representatives also seems to be a good junk of those 12 million... I don't see assembly line / manufacturing line work even in the top 30.
Well, it appears the 29 million is pretty much a inflated number also. lol! And your link does not provide a source of their information. So, for now at at least, going to stick with the official numbers.

Been thinking about the sea change among college-educated white voters, is something that's weirdly not getting any attention.
This is a group Republicans always win, and now Biden is winning them by double digits.

But hey, Biden hasnt picked a VP yet, bargle!

There's going to be a lot of angry and bored football fans this fall. A bad look for the encumbant president.

And there's no fake Executive Order that will bail out this situation.
I checked out ESPN about how Major League Baseball is doing. There were more stories about how teams and the league were dealing with the virus than about the games themselves. If baseball can't keep the virus in check, there is no way that football can. And 50k plus in the stands is pretty close to a guaranteed disaster from a virus standpoint.

Major League Baseball has not worked, opening schools in Georgia is not working out well, football won't work either. We just have to accept a new normal.

    Excerpt from your article:

Several sources have told ESPN over the past 48 hours that the postponement or cancellation of the football season seems inevitable. Many of those sources believed it ultimately will take a Power 5 conference to move things in that direction and that either the Big Ten or Pac-12 would probably be the first league to do it.

"Nobody wanted to be the first to do it," a Power 5 coach told ESPN, "and now nobody will want to be the last."

A Power 5 administrator added: "It feels like no one wants to, but it's reaching the point where someone is going to have to."
Initially they will likely try to reschedule in the spring. Unfortunately, there is no reason to believe that things will be any better in February through May of next year.

Could you post a poll showing these results? I am noticing some substantial differences in the online world that I see. And every bit of it is going against Trump. There seems to be a real chance that he annihilates the republican party.

But it is certainly not a guarantee. So seeing signs of hope would be a nice thing to see

There's been a dozen or so articles talking about it. It's a boring dive into polling breakdowns. Not as sexy as horseracing or the VP rose ceremony

I did no such thing as "source shaming" as you didn't even bother to source your claim.

I'm correcting your unsupported claim that "Republicans always win" college educated voters, because they do not. That's it, I was correcting the record and have no "beefs".

Milchshake said white college-educated voters, not college-educated voters overall. I think that is the source of confusion.

There appear to be at least 2 recent elections where college voters went Democrat based on that graph, Obama in 08 and Hillary by a +9 margin in 2016. That's all I was posting to correct.

Oh well...so he did, and I totally missed that in his post. I stand corrected then as I read "college educated" but missed the white part. I keep forgetting that I shouldn't post before I've had a cup of coffee, I am dumb without caffeine.

The graphs you posted yourself show that Republicans do always win the White College Educated voters. Check the right side of what you posted.

What would we call Biden if he did this:

Esper appears to backtrack on Beirut explosion cause after White House pushback
    https://www.cnn.com/2020/08/09/polit...ion/index.html
Hours after Esper said "most believe" that that the Beirut explosion "was an accident," Trump appeared to cast doubt on the plausibility of it being an accident at a White House news conference, saying, "How can you say accident?" while also saying, "Right now you have some people who think it was an attack and some people that think it wasn't."
How would this not be a huge scandal for any other president?

The largest fields however which employ the most are Medical, Professional and business services and State local employments.

because by my metric hotel and hospitality are also included in that list so combine the 2 you get around that number, and i guess if we also wanted to include other working people who dont fit the "rustic factory worker" model you could also include healthcare workers and you get above 30 million

and also man look at professional and business service
18 million? so i guess the professional managerial class is a significant part of the working class

I know this was already brought up, but it's officially my new biggest worry for the election is the Postal Service - which saw it's own "Friday Night Massacre" on Aug 7, when Trump fired two dozen senior postal employees.

    This is terrifying.

We have no idea how many people will end up staying at home on election night and refuse to mail in a ballot. In general, I think fear of covid is much higher on the left than the right, so we can probably expect covid to suppress the democrat vote more than the republican vote. One issue is democrat groups hire buses on election day to shuttle people in the city from their homes and apartments to the voting centers and voters aren't going to want to get on those buses this year from fear of covid. That could suppress the democrat vote TREMENDOUSLY.
TO FIX WOW:1. smaller server sizes & server-only LFG awarding satchels, so elite players help others. 2. "helper builds" with loom powers - talent trees so elite players cast buffs on low level players XP gain, HP/mana, regen, damage, etc. 3. "helper ilvl" scoring how much you help others. 4. observer games like in SC to watch/chat (like twitch but with MORE DETAILS & inside the wow UI) 5. guild leagues to compete with rival guilds for progression (with observer mode).6. jackpot world mobs.

This doesn't jive with the BLM protests and how y'all criticise left wingers for being hypocrites about social distancing when it's politically convenient, which actually suggests they'll ignore COVID and turn out en masse at the polls anyway.

    Try again.

    Possible, but I doubt it.

The folks I've talked to see voting in this election as very important. They're just planning on wearing a mask and gloves when they go out to vote.

Even states like WA, who have tried and true systems in place for all mail in voting, are bracing for impact. I can't imagine how bad it's going to be for the states that don't have experience with this.
