    Why though? People act like just because its 2hand it has to play differently or have different damage. They can literally modify all the skills to make them equal the same dmg. Like its literally just a cosmetic change.

    They've pretty much combined the best of Pre-Maelstrom Fulmination and Malestrom, which ya, I'm totally down with. I think I even called that this was what their ultimate goal would be in discord a few weeks ago lol. However, it is a little upsetting that they have cut the Echoing Shock/Ele Blast combo. Glad to see totem mastery gone, as it's kind of garbage now. Can't tell if Discharge will be any good, but it does make the first row a much more interesting choice. Overall, I'm glad to see them still making this level of change at this point in development.

    Instead of casting ES / EQ at 60 Maelstrom, we now cast it at 8 Fulmination.
    Sole issue being that we can't overcap, though that will possibly also come back, looking at how MSW has been handled for Enhancement.

    I don't know, this was such a fool's errand to begin with, because unless you return power to the filler spells, there was no damn point in ditching Maelstrom.
    The "pre Maelstrom" days, as far as AoE is concerned, we ruled by a strong Chain Lightning, now they tried it with a mechanic that was even clunkier than the EQ interaction in WoD.

    "the best of pre Maelstrom" for me is the strong CL, that is not back most certainly, AoE is focused on Stormkeeper (talent, lol) and Earthquake, CL is just the AoE filler.

    The way the spell is designed, you're supposed to keep it on CD, yet some talents / legendaries want you to discharge Fulmination only at 6 stacks or higher.
    However, you'll not always have 6 charges when Elemental Blast comes off CD (or you generate them too quickly and have to use ES in order to waste any).

    In my opinion, EB should replace ES entirely and the CD should go, two spells doing virtually doing the same thing, just doesn't work well.

    I meant this more as in the function of Fulmination and Maelstrom, not class design as a whole. It's not tied to LS like in Pre-Maelstrom days, but has the flexibility we had in those days (or even Legion really). Then it's facilitated by LvB as well, as opposed to just LB or LB & CL (one of the good changes we got from Maelstrom). Now, not to say that we NEED to be able to cast ES/EQ at less than top levels, but I didn't enjoy the way it works in BfA (ES/EQ at only specific, rigid amounts of Maelstrom), and much prefer the flexibility to be able to do so.

    Definitely need to see how generation is going to work with LvB being tossed back into the mix, but EB has been in a weird place. Going up against Echo meant it pretty much saw limited use. It had some really nice synergy with Echoing Shock, but with that gone, Idk if people will take it.

    I wouldn't mind seeing EB be an upgrade to ES. Buff it a little bit to compensate and then it creates a much smoother loop when you take it to replace ES as opposed to just adding 12 CD that you need to use right now.

    Unless another "Meme" Lightning bolt focused build arises (which i doubt unless they completely fuck up tuning), i don't think it will be that good because it sits in the same row as Echo of the Elements.

    I like it thematically, but i just don't see the spell seeing much use outside of PvP.
    It seems like it could be good for niche AoE situations, but ya, anything going up against Echo right now is pointless. Echo is too valuable for Ele to pass up really. It should honestly be made baseline at this point.

    Chain Harvest is still a dps loss compared to Chain Lightning - a god damn aoe filler spell. Not to mention it's absolutely useless single target.

    Primordial Wave hits 1 target. With these numbers and mechanics it should hit 5.

    So many changes and not a single one for SV. Shame really, most fun melee spec and they really decline to put a little effort in it to iron out clunky stuff.
    Even slight Focus regen increase would help a ton.
