    take with a metric ton of salt.

    There are apparently more bottom tier specs than there are specs for every other tier combined?

    That's... That's uh... Hm. Those are some "interesting" metrics. I think I need more salt.

    blizzard hasnt even started number tunings yet, they start doing that usually in the last month of beta

    You know damn well that people will take this as gossip and pester forums with demands and say that 34/36 specs are dead.

    That is some wild dps numbers there!

    Still "tuning" and balancing will continue... several months after release :P

    Affliction looks nice, and it once again has a good gameplay since it's similar to what it was in wrath ... grabbing popcorn and waiting for them to either fuck it up and make it crap or tune the numbers to shit.
    Hopefully destro doesn't stay like that

    This is where I'd put the lovely "Woah, this is worthless" meme from Gravity Falls that my friend made for this.

    But alas.

    Seriously, besides the fact that there's still more tuning passes to come, the fact that the difference between Destro and BM is 900 dps and the site somehow translates that as "Destro S tier, BM B tier" is hilarious.

    Like, there's legit no midtier on their list. Everything is just thrown in as trash, despite that the way the tier list should work is by having a middle point to judge the rest around too.

    seems Enhancement doing good, on "ITS" rightful place.
    Please, there a perfect example of hypocritical thinking:

    Doesn't number tunings come last? We are going to need more than one ton of salt for these rankings.

    Here’s hoping Shadow Priest rises up to at least 80%

    That's what i see as well, the Rankings are pure bullshit.

    Having the top 2 specs be so far ahead they are both clearly S Tier - outliers. The next runner up would make it A Tier which starts with Assassination Rogue, from there you can classify them from the top one... let's say 500 DPS (round number) to make the other tiers...

    S Tier --> (Over-performers) - Range anything higher than 7k
    - Destruction Warlock (9.2k)
    - Beastmaster Hunter (8.3k)
    A Tier --> (Top performers) - Range 7k - 6.6k
    - Assassination Rogue (7k)
    - Fury Warrior (6.9k)
    - Affliction Warlock (6.9k)
    - Havoc Demon Hunter (6.8k)
    - Frost Mage (6.7k)
    - Balance Druid (6.6k)
    B Tier --> (this here is the mid tier...) - Range 6.5k - 6.1k
    - Windwalker Monk (6.5k)
    - Frost Death Knight (6.5k)
    - Feral Druid (6.4k)
    - Retribution Paladin (6.3k)
    - Shadow Priest (6.3k)
    - Demonology (6.2k)
    - Arms Warrior (6.1k)
    C Tier --> (Under-performers) - Range 6k - 5.6k
    - Fire Mage (5.9k)
    - Arcane Mage(5.8k)
    - Elemental Shaman (5.7k)
    - Unholy Death Knight (5.7k)
    D Tier --> (Trash Territory) - Range 5.5k - 5.1k
    - Marksmanship Hunter (5.5k)
    - Subtlety Rogue (5.3k)
    - Enhancement Shaman (5.3k)
    - Outlaw Rogue (5.2k)
    - Survival Hunter (5.2k)

    So, one can clearly see the distribution of the specs, and imo this makes more sense as it has specific ranges within where the specs are currently located in.
    If we were to make an average of DPS to serve as a baseline. Total dps is 152.3 split by 24 specs total equals 6.34583(3).
    So basically 6.3 is the middle meaning that the above distribution is more accurate as B Tier --> (this here is the mid tier...) - Range 6.5k - 6.1k, 6.3k is smack in the middle.

    Balancing patch hasn't hit yet and they haven't finished class changes..

    Yup. They don't do any real number tuning till the very end. They put in placeholder numbers for now and only adjust the ones that are just ridiculously broken (high or low). Early beta is all about getting the functionality of the abilities working.

    You mean, you don't dampen your toilet paper? You roll with a dry, still-dirty bum? Yeesh.
    Thanks for the ad-hominem; it supports your inability to support your argument.
