I got the impression that they had forgotten he was even on the track from when he pitted until about lap 50.

With strategy like they have at Ferrari they don't need to sabotage, Vettel asks them about going to the end and they say nothing and then ask him to push for 3 laps only to then ask him if maybe they should go to the end? At least not a bad race for Vettel today, but the sooner he gets out of Ferrari the better, the only issue is where does he go?

Even if Albon gets dropped and they hired Vettel for Red Bull, Verstappen is so good I think it would be much the same.

I really hope Vettel finds his way again next year, it's sad to see him bumble around spinning the car and driving like a granny. Albon too, he was a big up and coming talent in the lower formulas and he seemingly cannot drive that Red Bull, being next to Max just makes him look worse since Max is like the messiah of racing talents.

Congrats to Mercedes on their WCC. It's great to see history being rewritten nearly every race. It really is. But holy shit it can be dull.

Well history isn't being rewritten, a few records are being broken but that's only an indication of how uncompetitive the series is at the top. Hamilton is taking every record in a 2 car race, it's not his fault but he's driving a car that is in a different catagory to the competition and you could have put half the grid in that car from 2014 and we'd be looking at a different multiple world champion.

We've been treated to some great tracks this year and some great racing in spite of all this, but the race for the championship has been neutered by Hamilton having godly levels of luck/reliability in a car with a depressingly big advantage, being faster than Bottas is his only obstacle which has been made easier by his generally better strategy calls and Bottas's occasional bad luck.

If Verstappen was in the Mercedes we would have fireworks, but it'd still not fix the boring 1 team race for the championship.

True. On the plus side, the fight for 3rd in the WCC is tight.
