Switching Europe around (spreading population density)

Switching Europe Around: the population of the largest country goes to the country with the biggest area, the population of the 2nd largest country goes to the one with the 2nd biggest area, and so on...

Portugal has some quaint areas but Mediterranean landscapes aren't really my thing so thanks but no thanks.

Hope you sleep well. With the lack of empathy the majority of you show i guess that won't be a problem. BB

It's true that surface area and population are mildly but not strongly correlated. There's an abundance of potential living space and resources in most places so mismatches in geographic distribution isn't a problem. The population can be wherever it thrives.

OK. But why tho? What is the purpose of this exercise? What is it trying to demonstrate?

    You know that won't work.
It's not about space it's about resources, and how that's defined.
(Yes, I'm aware of the immigration problem and I'm even sympathetic to your particular perspective. But I don't believe that a solution will be that simple)

I'm entirely fine with where my country ended up. Couldn't really ask for anything better imo.

It's just a fun map (I have a weird map obsession). I don't mind the location we ended, however now we have to take care of the pope and his Moldovan guard.

But you won't, you'll move to new Portugal. Or just stay where you are, if Greece comes to you

I can see you've put a lot of effort in to this, but, well. The UK is actually a union of FOUR countries (plus smaller self governing islands), not one big country (though it is usually counted as a country on its own right for political reasons).

    Me too.

You can check this channel with hours of weird maps:

Allthough maybe you already know it because I remember seeing that map there.

This is odd because I always considered it to be in Asia.

That's Siberia you are thinking of, vast empty lands, majority reside in European part of Russia, they are East Europeans culturally.
