Bring Back MU Teron Gorefiend for Shadowlands

Ah Teron Gorefiend. Once a respected Shadowmoon shaman named "Teron'gor" he joined Gul'dan and became a warlock IRONICALLY because he couldn't fix the problems Draenor was having using Shamanism... the problems he didn't know were actually caused by Gul'dan.

The AU version was fat and gross and ate souls but the MU version was... still a genocidal war criminal and got murdered by Orgrim before being stuffed into a dead Stormwind knight, becoming a WC2 Deathknight but was actually more loyal to Orgrim (the guy who KILLED him) and the Horde than Gul'dan. Even coming up with the plan after the Horde lost the second war to have the Horde escape their dying world not through conquering Azeroth but finding some empty world to settle on that wasn't dying... or admittedly just one that was weak enough not to kick them out.

Sure this ended up with Ner'zhul pulling the planet apart, and Teron getting imprisoned by a bunch of Draenei... BUT after being freed by the player he shacked up with the Illidari who enslaved and murdered plenty of Broken, before being murdered again, so if we can work with them, why can't we work with Teron and see him rejoin the Horde?

He's a good horde tie to Shadowlands



And more than anything else, despite essentially being an evil genocidal monster he's always been loyal to the Horde and was originally a good person before taking up fel magic thinking it would help his people. Plus he's an orc in a human body making him a good bridge between the Orcs and the Forsaken.

Well, Teron Gorefiend kind of has the whole shtick of coming back - he's died three times now, and his last words at the Black Temple implies he'll do so again.

It always bummed me out how we got this sweet questline to let the original OG Death Knight loose, only to off him after he appears to join the Illidari forces.

There is no butchery here. Teron Gorefiend being a boss in the Black Temple...considereing what Illidan was really doing(Legion revalations that is) makes no sense. Seeing him again in some evil capacity is fine.

Actual MU Gorefiend was more loyal to Doomhammer, Ner'zhul, and the rest of the Horde then the legion by the time of the reopening of the black portal. It was his original plan to reunite the horde, reopen the portal, and take a world for his own. Ner'zhul just ditched him and the rest of the Horde clans like the jerk

I wouldn't be against recruiting him as part of Bolvar's Death Knight Squad. Sure we fought him as a boss, but that didn't stop Nazgrim or Whitemane.

OT: I expect to see him like the rest of the badasses that were killed a long time ago. Forget AU happened when going forward and remember this will be an expansion with minimal time for the main factions wars as we all seek to restore the balance in the afterlife.
