Guess I'm rolling Revendreth. How else will I be able to spit on Garrosh and ensure his soul gets completely sucked out before discarding his pathetic carcass into the Maw?

Well someone gets angry without paying attention.
The short was very light on plotting, but still well made. Denathrius's VA is superb, the music and art are great, and it establishes the zone and Covenant quite well. If I made a ranking I'd say;
Bastion = Ardenweald
Revendreth
Maldraxxus.

The internet: where to every action is opposed an unequal overreaction.
Just to confirm, this is Garrosh right? It does look like him but with this art style I thought it could have been any one of the orcs. I'm still not sure how dying in the alternative dimension and timeline dropped him into this dimensions version of Shadowlands. For example, Blackhand died in both WoD and original continuity, so are their two Blackhands in the Shadowlands, or is it because Garrosh jumped dimensions that he got sent to this Shadowlands, and thus the WoD Blackhand goes to WoD version of Shadowlands, and OC Blackhand would go to this one? Clearly I'm overthinking this.
This was very underwhelming. I expected to see more of Garrosh after being leaked, all he did was getting milked with no foresight of whats going to happen to him unless its being shown in the zone. Kael'thas is nowhere to be seen despite being one of the main characters. The music sounded off to me, might have fit the theme but it doesn't sound nearly as good compared to the Ardenweald music. I liked the Denatrhius voice acting and having him talk as if he is constantly emoting Twitch ''Kappa''
I'd rate all covenant shorts from best to worst:
1. Bastion
2. Ardenweald
3. Revendreth
4. Maldraxxus (worst by far)
And this is coming from someone who is looking forward to the Revendreth and Maldraxxus zones.
I'm guessing that Garrosh is being saved to play a bigger role later in the expansion.
It has never been said that the Arbiter sends souls to the Maw, unless I'm mistaken.
All I've ever heard/read/seen is that the worst souls go there - which leaves the door open to them potentially having gone to Revendreth to try to atone first.
And no, we do not know that this is responsible for the machine of death breaking. Indeed, the order of events would imply very much otherwise. Arthas died and was cast into the Maw at the end of WotLK yet we have been explicitly told and shown that other souls were flowing into their rightful realms into Legion.
Even after years of torture Garrosh's eyes are still filled with fiery defiance.
No Kael'thas, but Garrosh confirmed, and damn good narrative. Bastion and Revendreth will be my two favorites, with Ardenweald also very good quality and Maldraxxus just the only disappointing one. I say this all from lore standpoint of course, I don't care what their abilities are.
While they wouldn't know her judgement beforehand, that doesn't mean that the implication is wrong. If Devos knew the Arbiter never sent souls directly to the Maw, then that would still be a cause for their actions.
If Kael and Garry got Revendreth, I don't see why Arthas wouldn't either. Which would have afforded Arthas a chance at redemption - something we know Devos/Uther explicitly and purposely did not allow or want.
If he was an "agent of the Maw" and they still thought they needed to jump the line - that's fairly strong evidence he wasn't going there directly.

Oh man, I just realized, What f Uther Broke the Machine of Death by intervening and casting Arthas directly into the maw?
Kind of like when a machine can not comprehend what just happened it says "Can not compute" over and over until it shuts down...by directly grabbing Arthas and not allowing his spirit to go in front of the Arbitor for judgement, the Arbitor has been waiting for his soul to pass in front of her/him? and shut down until we bring him back!
That's why the Arbitor steers when we arrive on Oribos! It sensed his presence in the maw when we opened the waystone! but shut down again when it realized we were not Arthas.
I can work with that, it is an infinite plane of existence, so I guess the multiple reality versions of a person may not run into each other. More likely its just not a question Blizzard asked, not super important but something I am thinking of. Could mean there are a couple Groms running around in this place too. WoD Grom was helpful at the end but he did kill a shit load of people.
Didn't think I could care less than I did for the Maldraxxus. Good job blizz, you've our meh'd yourself...
