I recruited a friend who made a new account but he didn't receive gametime when he accepted my invitation, I can clearly see through the game that he is one of my recruits, isn't he supposed to receive gametime for one month?

its the other way around. if they spend money on gametime, you get a free month. (or something to that effect)

OMG, they were telling me that the recruits get free gametime too. So no free classic for new players or alts?

No, the recruit gets 'free' 30 days when they upgrade from a starter account to a full account. Same as it's always been.
