How is SV looking? I remember it was actually pretty fun during Legion.

I'm probably going to play around with some frost/fire specs but I'm mostly looking forward to arcane. I don't think there's a lot I can do with it but damn it's fun.

And I'm definitely gonna go through Exile's Reach at least once. I didn't on the PTR so I figure I'll try it with live. Maybe I'll look at leveling a few of the allied races to unlock heritage armor.

SV is looking to be the same as in BfA. Nothing really drastic changed except some talents got nerfs and buffs. However it is also technically useable, even if I despise some of the choices they made for talents, like combining utility with terrible DPS talents.

There will be something viable, just not something that plays terribly well.

Every expansion the devs try to prevent a playstyle that deliberately removes certain core abilities from the rotation, and MM is on a direct collision course with such a build from the word go. it is actually quite astonishing.

My final predictions:

We will get the Jailer Cinematic on either the 24th, or 29th, just like Old Soldier. The Pre-patch will either be the 29th or 6th based on that.

Really hyped for the potential jailer cinematic.

I think they usually announce it only a couple of days before it happens. We just use the end of season announcement as a rough guide on when that might be.

So I answer you the question I have asked of people several times before. If its the 29th why was there no warning last week and why is there still no date?

based on everything the 6th with the 'real' pvp season end announcement coming some time this week is the most logical. Especially if there is another video to accompany such an announcement this Thursday.

The end of season announcement had tended to be less than 2 weeks before the actual release. This one is shorter than usual, sure, but I fail to see why that should override the even more out of place 3 week pre-patch.

Something has to give, and I am more inclined ot believe Blizzard would err on the side of caution with prematurely announing the pre-patch and then slightly inconvenience PvP players as opposed to making this pre-patch the shortest one yet.
