I don't even know if it would be accurate if we limited it just to NBA/NFL fans as I don't know any polling on that.

But that ratings dropped because a bunch of racists got triggered by a peaceful protest has no bearing on said peaceful protest having majority support here in the US.
I like how this is literally the last sentence in the article, that Saninicus obviously didn't read.

With that said, we have absolutely no concrete idea what has led to the decrease in television ratings. Time will tell on that front.

The reason is that Trump needs to win an election and scaring people is all he got.

Also, how do you watch the NFL, without thinking about tax dollars going to build stadiums for billionaires? I know... I know... corporations are people too... and their lives mater more than anyone else’s.

Edit: You know that 50 million contract Roger Goodel got? It’s in part paid by your tax dollars, going to the NFL, for those military cheering moments. Yeah... we pay for that...

    Offense is taken, not given.

Millionaires pitching a fit rings hollow to most.
Then why aren’t people lining up to put homeless people in Congress.

Wouldn’t that imply that the state represents the interests of white people?

But nationalism during escapism is...fine? I mean, nationalism is politics.

Politics being a part of sports isn't remotely new, dude. The problem is that it's largely been the politics that the viewing audience agrees with, and now that it's suddenly not it's "political". That's just the overt politicization of sports, if we want to scratch a bit beneath the surface there's a whole lot more but I won't get into that because most folks likely aren't consciously aware of most of that.

And that "politics" is literally for about 1 minute at the start of a match. Then they've got an hour+ of "a-political" entertainment to enjoy.

For the billionth time, because that's not the purpose of this specific movement. There are other activist groups in communities of color that focus on crime within their community, not ever organization has to have that as a focus.

And FYI - they care more about white lives than the "all/white lives matter" crowd as well - https://www.nola.com/opinions/articl...9feacacf2.html

Because the "white/all lives matter" crowd doesn't actually stand for anything or give a shit about the victims of police violence. They exist as a racist reaction to Black Lives Matter, nothing more.

I won't call you a racist because I don't know you, but I will absolutely say you are repeating the rhetoric of anti-BLM racists.

I'm sorry but this soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fucking stupid.

No matter what happens you racists or "racist adjacents", always blame the black people. Literally fucking always!!!!!

Black people get shot by a cop, black person's fault.
Black people get boycotted for kneeling, black person's fault.
Black people get choked to death by the police, black person's fault.
Black people get arrested at peaceful protests, black person's fault.
Black people get shot to death in their own homes by the government, black person's fault.

I didn't label you racist, you did. I said racist OR racist adjacent, you chose racist for yourself, by yourself.

There's no hypocrisy with BLM movement. Everything I said is 100% accurate.

What BLM hypocrisy? Do you not understand the difference between authority shoot civilians and civilians shooting each other?

That’s not what hypocrisy means... he is a reactionary...

Edit: Do you understand the difference between those that are supposed to serve and protect civilians, shooting civilians and crime between civilians? Do you see a problem with that relationship?

Edit 2: Just think about it for a second... why does Black Lives Mater, when it involves two black people, doesn’t make sense? Unless you claim the shooter is self hating or is suicidal, that’s a strange assumption.

This is a horseshit attempt to move goalposts, and only exists in an attempt to distract from the issue in question.

Literally no one is suggesting that black-on-black crime (or white-on-white, for that matter) be ignored. Literally no one. It's a fiction you made up in your brain so you could distract from the very real issue of police brutality, particularly against people of color.

The big difference, of course, is that black-on-black crime has another name. That name is "crime". There's no reason whatsoever to draw any such distinction in addressing crime. Meanwhile, there are observable issues with how police treat visible minorities, statistically speaking.

Again, what is the difference between authority killing people and civilians? Why do you never talk about white on white crime or white on black crime, outside police jurisdiction? Where all the cops involved in the chocking death of Floyd, white?

This is what the maligned Seattle police chief looks like:

Does that mean CHAZ was justified in the name of black on black crime?

You racist. You're calling me a racist. That you is directed at me. Since there no one else you're responding to.
I have a question for you. From your posts, you seem to be white I am assuming, correct? If you answer this I will ask you the question I want to ask.
