Yeah, and there's no "top tier player" to be had in wow raids, either, yet we have warcraftlogs still. Doesn't matter what the game, there is epeen stroking. As well, every gacha has the ability to get casino lever pulls by normal means as well. It just usually amounts to sucking huge amounts of your life such that it's highly inconvenient and bypassing it via tossing cash at them becomes palpable.
Trust me. I played onmyoji for over a year with my wife because she liked it, and while it was fun every now and then, but I'll never play another game with a similar system again.
this game... I just cannot fucking stop playing it. Luckily I had a 4 days vacation starting from 10/1 and in 4 days i forgot to sleep. I kept playing this game from 11am to 7am the next day. I wanted to rest ffs as octobers are always damn busy for me but damn I am rank 27!
and what is with people wanting Qiqi so bad? I have him and well I do not like her that much. she hits so little but i guess not enough atk stacking. gotta rebuild her.
got that chinese earth user lady tho. damn she is hot.
did not spend a dime yet and i guess i was lucky. I am missing Jean and Diluc only. I have all the rest.
oh and cancelled wow sub lmao. I am sure to go back to wow but when I wonder. this game is simply so good.
Well, in WoW, there are Top Tier players in raids. They get sponsorships and world wide recognition. They make a literal career out of it. Warcraft logs is just for individual players to improve their abilities on their own. You have nothing for a top tier in this game. No sponsorships. No mass recognition. Its a single player game with no leader board.
So I completely disagree with the assessment here. This game has none of the things that you mention.
Killed the wolf world boss today, was a bit easier than I thought it would be but this game has really exceeded expectations
What a shame... great gameplay, great world but a little too hard on the gimme money or grind for 3 months. I usually don't mind sending a couple hundred on games to get past the "pay wall" but this game is just a consistent giant fist pounding you over and over again.
Definently would have paid $60 for the game if they didnt have resin. Keep in the wishes and add skins for mtx and to keep some pay wall there.. Farming a boss i need to kill like 30 times for 1 character and can "loot" it 3x a day riped this game for me.
Hate to see a good game at its core end up like that.
That's a good question.
I'm not sure if the mastery is "added together" but I believe not.
It seems to make the most sense if the character triggering the reaction is the character that needs the elemental mastery.
This seems to be in line with what I've seen so far too - but I'm not certain, honestly (not really into "testing" right now when the game still has stuff to explore)
That means Fishl, who can trigger effects off-field through her bird Oz, gets to use her elemental mastery.
While Kiqing can only do so on the field.
Attack + Normal/Charged Attack Damage should be the way to go for her since she isn't really about applying lots of debuff on several enemies at once. Or is she?
Edit: Oh btw, with yesterday's commission quest at the Winery, I found out that you can "fail" quests and still get the/a reward. I have no idea if it was the same or worse, I was so shocked (just like Paimon, lol) and the maids got really angry with me :( .
I "accidently" put the whole hay on fire *cough* (I didn't have the wind-traveler on me and I was too lazy..)
There are some puzzles that give you a better (bigger chest) reward if you do it the more "difficult" way too.
well, there are some bigger ones too, the majority is about hitting 4 torches or some other stuff similar to it though but I don't really consider that a puzzle, it's basically on the same level of unlocking a chest that is guarded by monsters.
The longest puzzle I found so far is on the island (not marked on the map) just east of the starting area.
It was a very "witcher"-ry puzzle and took me like 15+ minutes to figure out.
There are a few dozen of those throughout the world.

Managed to hit AR 25 and kill Stormdragon before the reset, didn't think I'd make it for a moment there. Still have a bunch of weekly Battle Pass challenges left but I'll have an easier time when I actually have a full week to do them.
So far, I am Rank 17. Barely done any of the main story quests. Just exploring and side quests / challenges. Not sure what this paywall you speak of us. Resin recharge over night. What else would you do? No life farm the Few rewards that actually want them? I just bought some ascension material from the shops in game for in game items. Just a quick look about resin on reddit, there is probably going to be something added that gives you 2 fragile resion for free every day in version 1.1. That is what they say a dev on the chinese forums said, and each fragile resion restores 60, so that would be 120 for free a day + the 120 you normally get + 60 or more from going to work and then coming home. So you would be looking at a total of 300 resin for free between sleep / work / fragile resins.
No paywall to be found here.
Cool now you can do like 6 things a day before you have to pay or stop playing... sick.

Yeah I dropped the game after the second day when I wanted to do more than 3 things that day on the game but it was whip out CC or wait 24 hours. Sucks... was fun
Im not entirely certain you know how the game works. There is no point at all at which you simply can't do anything in the game. If you're talking strickly about resins, yes. You can kill and loot 6 rifts and thats it. If you're actually playing the game, you can do quests if you've not completed those. Daily commissions. Hunt down things to level the statues. Hunt other bosses. Once you hit AR 20, the spire unlocks for even more to do. Run around exploring alone will take a long time. Plenty of people at AR 30 with still more to find.
So, until you've found all 900+ chests, all the items to level up the statues, done all the challenges, unlocked all waypoints, done all main / sidequests And beaten all of the floors in spiral abyss until reset, then you've got plenty to do with more on the way. The wall you've hit is in your mind.
I don't understand it either.
And then they pay 13€/month for WoW (or any MMO, really) where it's basically the same deal.
Weird.
I mean I get it a little bit. It IS basically a SP game with time-gating.
But it's f2p also... and you can easily get at least 40-50 hours of developing characters and fighting/seeing new stuff before you get to the point where you log in once a day and farm stuff for 1-2 hours.
That's where you wait for the new zone to appear for example and get another 20 hours for free, if the game loop itself is not your thing.

I am done at AR 25.
The daily is the best way to gain AR. It takes 3 days to gain an AR.
Overall, it is a good open world, but lacks story and contents.
It only has two big bosses, Wolf and Stormterror.
