I disagree with his review... Didn’t see all of it, but they asked about his criminal justice reform and Holt called him out for not really answering. They asked Trump’s law and order bullshit, as well about antifa and socialists. Everything Trump used as an attack, was asked... excluding the attacks on Biden family and him wearing his mask too much.

That's not the reason why they wanted to change the rules. The reason behind the rule change was because it became apparent that Trump is incapable of maintaining decorum or keeping his word. He had agreed to the rules of the debate and yet consistently violated them with his repeated, obnoxious outbursts. Then cried at the few times Biden did so.

Sylvanas didn't even win the popular vote, she was elected by an indirect election of representatives. #NotMyWarchief

Seriously, she's a horrible person and pushes Trump's crap all the time, including the Covid lies. It's poetic justice she got the virus.

Initially, but this sounds like they're continuing to update the rules as more information came out about how reckless and irresponsible Trump and the Trump campaign were. They sound very non-plused that the Trump campaign put almost everyone working on prep and during the event at risk because they can't be bothered to take a pandemic seriously.

Dudeman, you are aware that it's a very tongue in cheek statement, right? She's a fucking hellion. Anyone who voluntarily works for Trump is.

It's very hard to tell without the /s, buddy. I mean, not that I can read anyone's tone.

I'm a shouty old (supposedly) rich white man, the rules shouldn't apply to me.

Honestly, I would count this as a win for Trump. If Republicans came up to 1.6 trillion as reported then Democrats should have taken the half a loaf and been satisfied. So many people out here are needing this damned stimulus to keep things going and the perception at this point is going to be that Pelosi is demanding too much and being unreasonable.

I'm voting for Biden and Democrats, but this makes me want to tell them to stuff it as well.
Democrats should stuff it, because Trump is setting an arbitrary delay to negotiations? Does he have any plan, other than no plan?

First off, expecting people to be happy with table scraps is a joke.

Second off, they've been negotiating and compromising on the aide for months. It's Republicans and the White House that refuse to compromise.

Third off, passing this joke of stimulus would remove any pressure to pass meaningful stimulus/aide as Republicans could say, "Well we already did another round and let's not be too hasty while people are suffering."

    This was a bad post.

The White House put out a statement about all their precautious to prevent covid spread in the White House. Not sure why they're trying to brag about them or something considering the virus is running rampant through the White House.

You might have a point when the Senate has passed literally any stimulus bill, whether it would pass in the House or not, but until then Republicans have abdicated any responsibility. The second stimulus package passed the House in May, was modified and passed again recently, and the Senate has refused to act. The only person preventing aid to the American people is Mitch McConnell.

Mitch McConnell is the perfect reason our leaders/reps should be tested to see if they are sociopaths/psychopaths and banned from these roles.

If they want power they can go be ceo at some company and play with money but fuck letting them play with our lives.

Dems started at 3.4T. GOP started at 1T.

Dems then came down to 2.2T, splitting the difference, 50% compromise on both sides. GOP has done nothing since.

Not seeing where it's reported the GOP came back with 1.6T. AFAIK McConnell has not deviated from 1T, but he also told Pelosi to just negotiate with the WH directly.

The bigger issue as I understand it is that the GOP won't budge on liability protections, and liability protections are a complete non-starter for the Dems - no business will willingly cover the costs for PPE, sanitation, and social distancing if there isn't a financial incentive to do so (like the threat of lawsuits from employees and customers who get infected due to the business owner's negligence).

Man, it'd be a shame if Miranda Devine got covid.

And what the hell does the decidedly non-Christian Eric Trump know about Christianity in the US?

Well, apparently he knows it was about to die out any day now. Until Trump came along of course.

And almost as soon as Trump announced he'd deadlock Relief Negotiations until after the election: The DOW Jones fuckin' shat itself.
